i agree with previous reviews, ask for a front facing room if available, with the little balcony overlooking the city, it's lovely! A fuse blew in our room during our stay, the staff were so helpful, everything was dealt with so professionally. I couldn't praise the staff enough, everyone from the second we arrived until when we left were so lovely. We ate in the restaurant attached to the hotel the first night, while the food was lovely i thought it was overpriced for what you got, but it's not a complaint, it was busy the night we went, so i'm sure there are plenty of other people who thought it was good value for money.

I thought it was a bit shabby and run down looking and it could do with a lick of paint ,the receptionist was not at all helpfull and the parking situation was a joke ,iv stayed in the clarion in cork city and it was a million times nicer and the staff were a lot more friendly I think its safe to say the next time I stay in dublin I wont be popping in,i am only writing to you so u can see what the public really think of your hotel. I hated every moment I was there thankyou

The hotel was lovely and staff responded to booking request to put additional bed in the room because there were 5 of us. However, the rooms was geared to have 4 people - it would have been a good idea to additional additional supplies for the 5th guest e.g. additional tooth glass in bathroom, extra towels, extra cup & saucer extra coffee and tea supplies. Beautiful room - balcony lovely but table on balcony was wobbly & the chair where it was located was in a gully. We were asked if we would like a complimentry Sunday Paper & it never arrived. Would also suggest that your leisure centre should stock smaller sizes in swim wear as my 12 year old forgot her togs & we had to purchase an adult pair & tie knots in the straps! The whole reason we stayed in the hotal was to celebrate the 12 yr olds Confirmation as a family so I paid the very expensive price for the togs!! Also loved the idea of hiring a DVD & staff were very exceptionally helpful, unfortunately there was difficulty locating a scart cable & the kind manager leant us his computer to watch the DVD. Unfortunately sorting all this delayed the viewing by an hour and when you have made your confirmation that day and got up at 6.10 a.m. in the morning that hour can make a difference. We didn't get time to watch all of the DVD before the confirmation candidate was too sleepy & then as we did not have the password could not watch the rest of the DVD in the morning (this was just a small glitch). The hotel & it's facilities were wonderfully comfortable. We are a financially hard pressed family & this trip was a once off treat, we enjoyed ourselves greatly. But would appreciate it if we now stopped getting emails offering breaks that we cannot afford - it is a form of torture! I have been to a few conferences in the past and I love the Clarion Chain of Hotels - some day we may be back! Thank you Clarion - a visit to remember! If there are 5 bed supplied - there should be 5 cups & saucers, 5 lots of towels and 5 biscuits and tea, coffee supplies! Balcony furniture could have done with a wipe down and the table was wobbly.

Overall a great experience. Nice location hotel just up the road from the o2. Nice restaurant and bar. Spa services were great. Room we booked was brilliant. Breakfast was very unorganised. We were show to our table which was still dirty from the people before us. There was used jam on the table. When we went to que for our food we were waiting for 10 minutes in a packed que for food. If you are going to serve as many people as you do make sure you have enough food to serve them. One or two members of your staff were not very friendly.

The room was clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was in close proximity to The 02 which was the purpose of my stay. Menu and beverages extremely expensive. Check out time is 11am however at 9am a male member of staff knocked on our door and then entered - still no explanation as to why.

From the time of arrival the staff were very friendly and took an interest in what was the purpose of our visit. The receptionist gave very good detail of the hotel facilities and made us feel very welcome. On checkout the receptionist took an interest in the concert we had attended the night before which made us feel very welcome and will return there again

Really well designed rooms which were a good size. We had one of the best bathrooms and wardrobe/storage systems we have seen in hotels - amazing for a basic room. The staff were brilliant - very friendly and helpful. Great location - everything was within a short walking distance of the hotel. We will be staying again! We got a bit confused about access to the carpark which should have been better signposted. The beds were a little hard in our opinion.

The location was good After paying good money to stay easter weekend and get a break away from kids we went down to the bar friday and were completly disgusted and shocked to be told that we would not be served a beer in the hotel unless we got a meal in the resteraunt, we were not told this when we made the booking and were not told this when we arrived at check in. So we then decided that we would get a meal and relax for the evening to be told that we would not be served a drink until we then ordered our food, the manager of the hotel was very incoherent and the resteraunt staff were among the most ignorant people I ever came accross in my life. I have been on a few lovely weekend breaks over the years but I would never ever go back to the clarion. To make matters worse our room was tiny I will say the room cleaning staff were lovely people.
