Dinner a disappoinment
swimming pool, great food
Very poor air quality. Odour of stale cigarette smoke in the restaurant
The room, the food, house keeping practices very poor. Decor poor, floorboards broken beneath carpet, plugs not workin, beds poor quality . No sign of any kind of management.
Staff are very helpful they all make you feel very welcome, from the check in staff to the chambermaid, its all done with a smile, really enjoyed our stay, will return.
Breakfast poor, cold and uninteresting, felt foyer was lacking warmth, and nothing comforting or relaxing about it, also no DVDs in rooms and couldn't buy movie on sky as they didn't provide this service
Food in hotel very good. Facilities gym, pool and spa of a high standard.Staff helpful and friendly. Crazy golf looked very good but weather wasnt good enough to use. Bar is lovely for quiet drink or watch sport but no entertainment...bar small but comfortable.
The 3 days were so relaxing was a70th birthday the staff were great couldn't be more helpfull
Meal menu was very light on options uncomfortable beds
enjoyed the food in the pub. had a good time in using the pool facilities. the room was very comfortable.
getting served your tea at breakfast is a bit messy and you need to ask a few times. once you are brought to your table the staff should ask if you want coffe or tea and bring it then.
i stayed in the clarion for two weeks.i found the reception and leisure staff very pleasant.i stayed with my husband and two young children. there was plenty for them to do. facilities where excellent.i stayed in the suite it was cleaned every day it was spotless hotel and surrounding areas well maintained. really was top hotel.it was only two min drive from the town. great value for money.i would definently recommend suite if you staying long for that extra comfort. beds well comfy. there free wifi. i will definetly be returning. i give it 9/10
i give my overall experience 9/10 and not 10/10 based on the restaurant. i would recommend not to go there . town is only two min away. two occasions i ate there found the staff to be unfriendly unprofessional including the manager.i was given a menu after 15 min took 45 min to take my order another 30 to get fed this was on both occasions.one of the occasions i tried to order from the bar two manager and waiter looked at me two occasions and walked off even though had menu in hand . first impressions are everything my first and second time was a disaster. tra ban, belfry i recommend for good food . davies if you want travel ten min but well worth it
The food was nice staff where really helpful and the veiw from the room was class
Wakened by rowdy guests at 4.30am!
Great pool for kids, lovely atmosphere, staff very nice and efficient. This is a great hotel, well run.
Service of cappuccino and scones, while very minor, was sloppy, slow and untidy. Coffee spilled over saucer and bar counter, not wiped, waited about 25 mins. Untrained staff.
Pool and facilities were great We stayed in a family suite which had really good sized living space and bedroom The bedroom was quiet
The food was disappointing The bed was the most uncomfortable place I have ever slept Tv channels were limited No separate shower and bathroom very small
Staff friendly and efficient. Leisure facilities very clean. Kids club ideal for children.
The sink in our kitchenette was discoloured and looked like it could do with a bleaching/thorough cleaning.
Lack of control of the overwhelming heat in the room. Lack of muesli, or fried or boiled eggs at breakfast. Delay in room service.
Good location in impressive building
No one on reception on arrival kept waiting & ignored when someone finally appeared
Location and staff very good. The breakfast very good.
The room was cold as we were away from the main block it got colder as you went down the last corridor. The room had a sitting room which was open into the bedroom (no door) and it also had a front door which could be sealed better. Had to ask for heating to be turned up room still very cold in morning.
The family suite for our second nights stay with our teenage kids was great, having a separate kitchenette and sitting room gave us plenty of space. The swimming pool was nice. The 12 noon checkout was super.
The first night we stayed as a couple in a double room - the worst hotel room I have ever stayed in. It was an L shaped room with the bed stuck in the small end of the L - it felt like a box room. Breakfast was Ok. Overall I would say this is a 3-star hotel - for the price we paid it was good value.
Children able to play freely in foyer. Breakfast was ok. Some staff helpful.
Very noisy delivery/loading bay outside window. Very noisy until 1.30am (bottle bank). Deliveries started at 5.30am. Bed very uncomfortable. Pillows hard. Window filthy. Difficult toget to room. Hotel very higgeldy piggeldy. Room very cold, tatty. Staff rude.
Great facilities, very friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast. We had a great time.
Car park was very full but managed to find a space it didn't really impact on the quality of our stay
was different but was very disappointed this time.
Bed was booked as a double not as two single beds closed together with a ridge in the middle. The free wi-fi did'nt work on the second floor it only worked at the reception area.
leisure centre nice for children
Bar was cold, seating uncomfortable, kids club not very good, finished at 8pm,rooms very far from reception, reception cold
Room was lovely and warm and bed was comfy
Receptionist when we arrived could at least have said hello, maybe a bit of a smile too! Directions to room were all over the place. Lovely room with leaflets on..... Sligo!?.... no .... Northern Ireland!!! Ok have a few but no info on amazing sites in Sligo.... nothing on Knocknarea!!!!! Please put in info on Sligo, Roscommon, walk around Benbulbin, just can't understand info so bad.
