The breakfast was buffet style, food very warm and tasty. staff friendly and welcoming.
The fact that there was a customer allowed down for breakfast with no shoes on.who wants to look at someones toes first thing in the morning!!
Locality Friendly staff Warm bedrooms
Lack of reading/lounge areas. Variety of breakfast items disappointing.
Noisy neighbours at four in the morning
Staff friendliness, excellent facilities, great stay and will b back.
Snack food in the bar Leisure centre is the best I have experienced Friendliness of staff Convenient to the destination we were travelling on to Speed of service in the bar and restaurant lovely bedroom
we thought the bedroom was too warm so we turned down the temperature of the radiator I am not a fan of the carvery type breakfast as the food could be hotter I would have liked the availability of gluten free / wheat free bread
The room was great only thing was wifi was up and down was frustrating
Level of service was terrible in the restaurant
This hotel is just outside the centre of town so less than five minutes drive from shops. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was v quick in restaurant for dinner and dinner was ok. Fabulous looking hotel.
Our room was above reception and bar so v loud on the Saturday night. Would think hotels would know to put young children away from bar etc. Room was too warm and Window would not stay opened.
The staff, food and room was all of a very good standard! Would recommend and visit again!
Maybe something along the bar or lobby to entertain the kids! Games table etc
Great pool Huge family room (actually two rooms) Quiet location Impressive looking building
Felt the layout of the hotel was odd. More thought could have been put into the position of the lounge area - - just inside the door so everyone was walking through it all the time. Had to walk a long way from the reception to get to the family room which is difficult with 3 kids and cases. Bar area was too small for such a large hotel. Breakfast was busy but again the area was too small for the number of guests so lots of queues and dodging other people.
The old facade of the hotel was very impressive...
The uneven bedroom floor room 4135, poor choice of TV channels...
Peace and quiet, very clean and relaxed, great facilities
Long trek to the room
I liked the rooms we had, plenty of space, but not a good view. The leisure facilities were excellent and the staff were all helpful and cheerful, I would recommend it as we got good value for our money thank you!
The view !
It was after 11pm when we checked in, went straight into bar got a drink and asked where we could get something to eat as we were starving, they said you can order sandwiches to your room, but not in the bar where we had just got into why not let you have them in the bar.
The staff are really friendly and accommodating. Very child-friendly. The kids had a ball. They loved staying in a castle and being knights and princesses.
We had a bed less than the room we booked (but there may have been a misunderstanding with a request we made) and the hotel was generally a bit grubby. I didn't like the kids crawling on the floor of the room and there was a grubby waterline in the pool.
We liked everything about the hotel an suite tha we occupied. Thank you very much.
Beautiful location Very helpful staff
The receptionist and bar staff were friendly
There wasn't a good selection of food from the bar menu The breakfast was not good quality The remote control in our room was not working. I did not have a hair dryer in the room
The comfort, the space, the services.
We thought we had slept through breakfast as the hotel TV had the wrong time on it, so we didn't go down. Turns out the time was wrong, and we could have made the breakfast after all.
hotel looks lovely set on a hill has great views
booked family room for extra space just two off us would hate to have children with me not big enough
Clean, comfortable bed, spacious rooms .. food was good .. you can call it a good 3 stars hotel
Since I was there just for business so it was ok.
Spacious room. Good value. Staff were really helpful. I'd sat down probably 5 seconds at (a very busy) breakfast before someone approached me to ask if I needed anything. Rarely get service that quick.
Noisy people next door (I know that's not your fault) but my room was directly connected to theirs via a door which might as well have been hanging open given how badly it insulated the noise. Could hear every word they were saying. Personally I don't understand the need for these doors in seemingly every room.
