Upon arrival late at night staff were excellent, efficient and friendly - we had booked a cot for the room which was setup ready for our baby, we were also upgraded to a suite as the hotel was fully booked which was a huge bonus as travelling with a young baby the extra space and facilities included in the suite made our stay so much more comfortable. Although children are not allowed in the pool before 9 we were allowed in with the baby before 9 to use the paddling pool which didn't disturb other swimmers. It was great to deal with staff that didn't just quote the rules but used common sense and were very accommodating. Parking is 4 euro per day which I hate having to pay as a guest of the hotel with its own parking. We were told on our first day that as we had prepaid for our stay we had to pay on each exit which was very annoying as queues were very long but on our second day we were given visitor exit passes for the rest of our stay this should be as standard. Price of breakfast is steep but there was a cheaper option in using a cafe 2 minutes walk from the hotel.

Room was cold, window was of poor quality with a draft coming in around it, bathroom door lock was broken and the door wouldnt stay closed. room was a long walk from reception, and i very much doubt on a random tuesday night that this was because of it being busy! stayed here a few times at this stage and it seems to be a problem hotel everytime. last time the tea and coffee making facilities werent there, when i rang reception the porter wanted to charge me €5 plus a €5 deposit. Im sick of it now wont be back.... definitely not worth the 4 star status

The location suited our requirements exactly. The price offered was excellent. The appointments of the room and the general facilities of the hotel exceeded the expectations we had developed based on the price offered. Car parking is excellent and reasonably priced. All staff with whom we interacted were deeply courteous and dedicated to doing a good job.

The range of facilities available in the area was excellent especially for shopping - the city centre was alway easily acessible (traffic was heavy during the evening rush hour). As regards returning home to the West of Ireland; the location was also very good. I found the rate charged for parking to be quiet excessive.

The rooms were very clean and well equipped. The swimming pool was purposeful. There was no wi-fi in rooms even though on the website the hotel claims to have wi-fi all over the hotel. We complained about this as my fiancé needed to use the internet for work. Our complaint fell on deaf ears. I though the reception staff were unfriendly and not very helpful. We only paid 106 euros for two nights so we couldn't really expect anymore. Overall good value for money

Duvet had stains on that could be seen through the duvet cover, we had complained about stains (possibly blood) on the mattress protectors which were replaced but duvet was not replace, although we did not complain about the duvet seperately it was obviously dirty/stained and should not have been used. Breakfast ridiculouly expensive €50 to order full Irish breakfast roomservice for two. Room very cold at night although radiator on - we were on 6th floor and there was very strong wind which was getting in through the window some how.

Great location to Shopping Centre, clean, very friendly reception staff, easy access and convenient parking The price of a glass of wine! € 6.95 extortion, wouldnt recommend the bar, these prices are crazy! Lovely Arc bar and restaurant right beside this hotel - normal pries there and food/atmosphere fabulous.

I loved my stay. I found the hotel was very child friendly. Good access to amenities, even with a double buggy!!. The kiddies pool was perfect and the Liffey Valley Shopping centre was a short stroll. A great experience. Thank you.

Well for a start we checked in at 8.20am and asked if we could leave our bags. No need the reception booked us in and gave us a free upgrade to apartments. A fantastic gesture and believe me they were stunning. The pool and spa are was also superb and a great chill out bonus Only thing was that a taxi was nearly 25 euro into city centre. There was buses available though nearby so really if you wanted to get in cheaper you could

Its handy for shopping and even town and the Staff are so nice. The dutey manager that was on last Saturday was such a nice person really down to earth girl n helpfull couldnt have made us feel any more at home. Not sure what her name was she was a blond lady. If anything maybe the noise in the apartments people having partys but it would not put me off staying again.

We upgraded to a suite, great size, suited us perfectly. Pool was excellent, breakfast good tho pricey. We especially picked the hotel because it's website said it had Cbeebies and kids video's to rent. 2 of our kids had to stay in the room all day with a nanny as our other child had an appointment at Our Lady's Children Hospital all day. I knew that would help entertain them. But neither existed :(. There was cbbc but that isn't so good for the kids. Thank goodness for the pool for them to spend a couple hours in!

“Very friendly welcome from Lorraine at reception who started our weekend off on a happy note and was informative about facilities on site, shopping centres and directions. Our room was spotless, comfortable and had a very extensive range of toiletries. The addition of little luxuries e.g. books, the hot chocolate and hair straighteners was excellent from a womans perspective! Bar music was varied and enjoyable. My massage by Shona was just as I asked-not too firm, just completely relaxing.” Teresa, Youghal |
