Very comfortable with good beds and mattresses extremely busy and staff very attentive
We stayed as a group of friends. Hotel accommodated our request for adjoining rooms, which was very convenient.
The staff were extremely friendly, pleasant and helpful. Excellent customer service.
The food in the bar was a bit disappointing.
Lovely hotel food was fab and great location
Swimming pool wasn't great
Rooms very comfortable and staff friendly. Nice pool and breakfast really nice.
Some damaged lighting and a skip in parking area to side of hotel.
Friendly staff, value for money close to the city
free kids club plenty of towels at the pool
bar prices for alcohol bit expensive
Convenience to shopping area for essentials.
Modem socket in wall was loose and connecting to it was very difficult. Also electricity socket for kettle was loose from wall so that only one of the two sockets worked.
Pool was clean and also importantly it was warm.
We got an amazing bedroom one of the delux rooms really beautiful and so comfortable best night sleep ever in a hotel we also had dinner in there restaurant it was by fr the nicest dinner we had in any hotel and not over priced
Its on the roundabout going into galway you would have to drive into the city only about five mins
Lovely staff, fantastic location.
Room was a little cramped. I have stayed there before and the rooms were much nicer.
The staff are friendly.
Disappointed with the general maintenance of the hotel bedroom, the curtains are stained, wash basin is cracked, some of the fronts of the sockets came off when I went to re-charge my phone, the drawer fronts in the wardrobe are dirty, bedroom 222 needs some attention. And whats with the plastic red roses stuck in the planter boxes???? not a sophisticated look.
Friendly staff , extremely comfortable beds
134 euros for one night with no breakfast in a hotel 4kms from city centre, a little pricey
great breakfast and good that it was served until 11 at the weekend
no pen and paper in the room...
A little out of town. Not too far but that's the only a minor criticism
The friendliness of the staff and the comfort of the beds.
The pool is large enough to spread out, and small enough to be a within arms reach of our children playing. Breakfast selection was fine, and hotel is well laid out.
The Family Room was two double beds, which wasn't ideal given we had booked in as two adults, and two children (+baby in a travel cot). A bad night sleep caused by squabbling kids was had, but on the upside, it did mean they slept all the way home in the car the following day. Every cloud and all that.
Comfort, quiet and pleasant... Nice to be on the outskirts instead of the hustle and bustle..
Cleanliness... There was a massive stain on the carpet right outside the room door, a blind person couldn't miss it...
The beds are amazing!
Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Air conditioning that actually worked. Good overall ambiance.
the room / the facilities / the price (60€)
the heating system
Staff on duty very nice I.e reception and also breakfast receptionist whom we notice has been working at clayton for years - still brilliant at his job
We have stayed in the clayton a number of times over the past few years but we were a little disappointed on this occasion. Things just weren't as perfect as usual. We felt the place is a little run down, hated the idea of Carvary for 'bar' menu. This wasn't very appetising looking so we left the hotel for dinner. Usually we would Have stayed & eaten in clayton. However this will not stop us going to clayton when we next visit Galway..
Bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good.
The service in the bar area where we had dinner was poor and the food was slow and cold when our arrived. Wasn't great when it arrived. Wasn't the worst place but wouldn't be in a hurry back for the price I paid.
