excellent hospitality with a gallic charm. easy-going relaxed atmosphere with good food offerings. the setting is magnificent with a wide-ranging view over the bay and the atlantic reefs beyond.

I loved the location along the sea front and the view from our bedroom window in the morning. Charles was so chatty and friendly, offering tips on where best to dine and places to explore.

very nice stay the owners were very friendly, breakfast was ver ygood, the view was breathtaking, I would stay there again with my wife. I could not get wifi nor could my wife, but we needed a computer break anyway and this was the perfect location for it, my only suggestion would be to have TV in the room for weather local/international news

Clifden bay Lodge is just perfect place set within the wilderness, sea is in front of the house. Imagine mornings waking up and seeing hills, blue sea...Nice, quiet and comfortable place, pristine conditions of the room. Hosts were really friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend and will be coming back soon.pubs with life Irish music, everyone is really friendly. Clifden itself is nice place too, Definitely value for the money.

Clifden Bay Lodge was a perfect place to relax after days sightseeing beautiful remains of forts and castles along the coast or going on long hikes in beautiful scenery. The couple running it were very friendly, the beds super comfortable and we will be back.

Everything was excellent!!!! We sure had a wonderfull time and will return!!! Very sweet and nice people!!!

Absolutely great location near the pleasant town of Clifden, with a fabulous view on the bay. French owners are very friendly.

Our room didn't have an en suite bathroom, we needed to go downstairs, which was not really practical. Also, this room was quite small. However, the owners told us that they would change this next winter, so that all rooms will be large enough and have their own bathroom. Compared to other B&B's, this room was a bit expensive for what you get. If you are allergic, beware, they have a dog and a cat.

Tout est parfait, la gentillesse de Frédérique et Charles, leurs conseils, l'emplacement, la propreté des lieux, la nourriture, la vue, la situation géographique,... Pas de fausse note. Allez-y les yeux fermés!

L'accueil chaleureux et trés sympathique. La vue sur la baie depuis la chambre et la véranda est sublime. Le calme, les propriétaires ont des animaux trés gentils: chien chats et même un petit âne. Les trés bons conseils pour les restos et pubs et même pour visiter le Connemara. Le petit déjeuner est trés complet et copieux;

L'accueil est parfait: hôtes disponibles tout en étant discrets. Maison et chambre agréable, très calme, vue sur la baie de Clifden. Petit déjeuner très correct.

Accès par petite route étroite, gps conseillé.

Très bien situé avec une vue sur l'océan fabuleuse. Chambres spacieuses bien équipées et très confortables. Décoration en adéquation avece cadre naturel. Hôtes prévenants et serviables prêts à nous faire partager leur amour de la région. Irish breakfast fabuleux.

Un sans faute ! Accueil, confort, propreté, équipement, superbe petit déjeuner, tout est là pour un séjour réussi. Le tout dans un emplacement de rêve sur la Lower Skyroad, offrant ainsi une superbe vue. Les propriétaires, un couple expatrié français et leur fille, vous feront partager leur amour de l'Irlande, celui qui pousse à venir et revenir sans cesse dans cette île. Un must !

Situtaion géographique exeptionnelle, excllent accueil.

Très serviables: ils font tout pour faciliter votre séjour comme louer des vélos ou venir vous chercher à la station de bus de Clifden.

C'est un peu loin de Clifden si vous n'avez pas de moyens de transport.
