Amazing location, less than 5 minutes from O'Connell street, 10 minutes from bus station, very good beds, helpful staff, offering 1st floor room instead of top floor, amazing price.
Tiny and a bit dirty bathroom.
Staff were very helpful and friendly and car parking was convenient
Удобное расположение, аккуратный номер и отличная цена) Есть парковка. Хороший WiFi
Great breakfast and location for temple st hospital and O Connell st.
Room was nice and bed was comfortable.
Avoid room 17. It's practically in reception and you will hear noise all night. Not sure why the receptionist had to make several calls to her friend at 7 in the morning but I was unfortunate to have to listen to it.
Great service, polite staff,we left our luggage once we checked out with staff while we toured Dublin, clean room and very spacious! Have already recommended it to friends!
Parking Only a 20 min walk to the city centre Chinatown nearby Great service Decent breakfast
Tiny tiny shower
We spent 6 wonderful nights at Clifden Guesthouse and the location was perfect. It was just a short walk to O'Connell Street but removed enough from the busy street so it was quiet at night. The staff was extremely friendly. The hot breakfast was delicious and made to order. The room was cozy and cleaned each day when we were out. When we were in the room and didn't need housekeeping, they asked if we needed anything and happily restocked our tea, coffee, and milk.
The shower cabin was very small and it was difficult to control the temperature of the water. Sometimes it was too cold and sometimes burning hot.
We visited just before Christmas for a few days and we were very well looked after. The staff were all extremely pleasant. The breakfasts were excellent. Our room was clean, tidy and very well presented. We will visit the Clifden House again and we will recommend it to others.
The drainage in our room in the basement was very slow, but wasn't a major problem.
The lady whom serve us our breakfast the next morning was all friendly and would have been nice to see her wearing a uniform instead of just a sleeveless and trousers.
Comfortable, reasonably quiet, clean and decent accommodation in the central area of Dublin. Staff were friendly and polite. There was free tea, coffee, biscuits and sweets in the room. The wifi was excellent. The low price was the main reason I chose this hotel.
The bathroom was small but that wasn't much of a problem.
location city center walk good breakfast good beds
noise from the next room no lift staff sometimes missing
The room was spacious, modern style and the bed was super comfy and the room nice and warm. Free tea and coffee, along with toiletries and towels made for a home from home stay and meant less luggage for us to bring. We were a five minute walk from the centre so great location for the price. I'd stay here again and recommend for young fit couples, as the stairs are a bit if a killer.
The stairs were a bit of a hike but okay for us, and the shower was a mere trickle. Other than that I loved it!
Cleaning. Size of Bed, general view, Good Breakfast and person that was serving also doing housekeeping later.
It was quite windy at these days, and wind was going through the closed windows together with a sounds of voices of people that was walking in the night at the street floor, when I was in 3'rd floor. I’m not often user of . TV makes strange sound that reminds the sound/signal interferences noise Windows of the flat, is hard to open (to ensure temporary fresh air circulation) Big gaps between the frame of window, actually you can see outside trough wood frame. Lot thermal energy losses through the windows. Bottle spring water shall be presented each day of stay if was declared it is complimentary. Bedding's could be made from 100 % cotton/simillar.
Nice decor Handy parking
room is good with this price and its comfortable.
A male staff there is not nice. and its really pity no place can stay but room.
The Clifden House is just an excellent place for accommodation within Dublin city. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a decent, clean, quiet place within the city. Excellent Free Wife Coffee making facility The 24 hrs reception just a button away, I mean you couldn't ask for more Friendly staff who act promptly on any queries They even left us 2 bottled water for drinking, no extra charge. There were enough towels for 2 people
Maybe I would like a bath one day to relax, because I have a hective work schedule so I always take a quick shower.
Lovely relaxing rooms which were very clean and welcoming
Great location Nice room Good bed Cozy fireplace Wifi worked Price was excellent
Room was next door to reception, so could litterally hear every word said there. Would wake up by their phone ringing etc. Also the fan in the bathroom would never be quiet.
Unable to shower because the water stream is very weak. Separate cold and hot water in hand basin. Very old building and stained bed linen and duvet. Steep and narrow stairs to the top level with no help of the staff is very difficult to carry the luggage. Wifi is slow
quiet area, easy walk to centre of Dublin, breakfast was excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. single beds pushed together which made a very large double bed which was very comfortable and best of all was the bath with unlimited hot water! would recommend.
having a room at top of building which meant a lot of stairs to climb as no lift.
Location to city centre great. Rooms were good sizes and very cosy and warm. Heating was fab.
Noise travels easily. People in courtyard were very loud.
The staff were friendly.
The WiFi in the room was terrible. The heating was off when I checked in so the room was very cold (stayed late December). The heating was turned off in the night and it was extremely cold when I woke the next morning. The area for left luggage is beside reception and not secure/locked away.
Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and comfortable. All in all great value for money.
The bathroom was quite small .
