Rooms were beautifully decorated. Appreciated added extras like bottled water and good instant coffee.
71 stairs to our room, number 10. No lift. no smoking rooms and also no balcony in the room. The great trek.
Everything except the shower was lovely.
The accommodation was very well situated. The room had everything I needed. Staff were excellent and very helpful.
The weekend I chose was a special culture weekend, so accordingly, the price was a little high.
The staff us wonderful. They are helpful and always friendly. The breakfast was excellent.
We were on the top floor, there were 71 narrow stairs to our room. It was very difficult raking the bags to our room. Also, wireless did not connect on the top floor.
Location Staff Comfortable beds Cleanliness
Cramped bathroom with near impossible shower to fit in very average breakfast
Large spacious room, terrific double beds each and wonderful breakfast. Plus just a short walk to Croke Park. Will be back
Location Comfortable Bed
Comfortable helpful staff
Stay was pleasant no complaints
Very helpful friendly staff and clean comfortable and spacious room
Breakfast was fine but slow service as one staff member was both waitress and cook- we waited 50 minutes to be served
The location was perfect for me
No faults to report
The location was good.
Dated bathroom, springs sticking out of the mattress, the shower was broken.
We stayed here for 2 nights & were pleasantly surprised after reading mixed reviews. Staff were welcoming, friendly & relaxed - the rooms were large for 2 ppl, modern decor & clean. Tea / coffee & sweets / biscuits provided in our room which fed my sweet tooth! Our towels were changed & the room cleaned on 2nd day (we didn't expect this). For breakfast, there was a small selection of continental fruit, yoghurt, pastries, meat & cooked breakfast to order( see below)all in all a great wee stay for us!
On the first morning we went down to breakfast at 9 (we had been asked upon arrival what time we would like breakfast.) the dining room was full & we quickly realised everyone else were waiting on their cooked breakfasts and hadnt ordered yet. There was one girl taking orders one by one and then going & cooking - by 10am we still weren't asked what we would like & eventually when it was our turn, the lady only asked me & Not my partner - so he gave up! Food was nice but not worth the wait - second day was quieter & we were luckier but felt sorry for the poor girl - a better system of service would help & perhaps being able to make your own toast in the dining room. The only other negative for us was the noisy guests we had in our room beside us (luck of the draw)- try to avoid rooms near reception as quite noisy - we were luck with room on top floor. Only other thing there's no lift if you have bother with stairs / lots of luggage, but it wasn't an issue for us!
The toilet was very dirty and small, there was only a limited amount of tv channels also upon staying there they overbooked a room which we had booked and were given the option to move to a twin bedroom despite being a couple and having a double bedroom
beds were comfortable, rooms are a good size close to most things
needed more light in the bathroom, its pretty weak wifi
I like the staff and its quirky charm.
Room 12 has a skylight without a shade so the room gets bright very early in the summer. Once thats changed its perfect.
big rooms, comfortable beds, flat screen tv, small attention to details like sweeteners and sugar with the tea and coffee facilities
very small bathroom
It's close to everything
There's a lot of junkies around
Rooms are only newly refurbished. There lovely and spacious it's very deceiving from the outside would definatley stay here again !!!
A bit noisy in the rooms on the ground floor
we liked the location and breakfast was very good. Our room was good but lot stairs to climb and no lifts.
The shower is very small not a lot of room to even turn in it, and didn't like the wash hand basin being in the bedroom
Location, very clean.
Very small room.
Very comfortable beds, a bottle of wine, water bottles, tea service and candy in the room, breakfast was ok too, location is fine, a couple of blocks away from were the tour buses take off.
No elevator, confusion on whether the breakfast was included or not in our reservation, but we got a refund in the check-out.
beds were very comfortable, staff was friendly
shower was dirty, no remote for the tv, a supposedly full irish breakfast was miserable and missing some items that were mentioned on the menu. Sometimes it took a while for someone to come and open the door if there was no one in reception. Doors didnt feel very secure, really old style with a key, had to lock it everytime. Hard to believe the place was recently 'refurbished'.
location was good and handy to city centre and for buses. we loved the fact we got car parked safely.
super colcation, comfortable bed and quiet room
toilet and shower very small.
