Location was superb. Staff was polite.
The small bed was uncomfortable but it is a budget hotel!
I didn't like much
Good food, good music, nice people. It was nice to be among Dublinners instead of all tourists.
warm and cozy
There was plenty of hot water in the sink but no stopper so too hot to have a shave without being scalded
The bar downstairs was friendly and cosy. The room was just what I needed , wasn't noisy and the bed was comfortable . Was great value and very handy location . Would stay there again .
Great location, friendly and helpful staff. The room has a kettle, tea, coffee and sugar. Towels changed every day, the room has a hairdryer and TV. Value for money.
small bathroom, high stairs and no lift
Staff was very kind, the location's perfect, our room was roomy and clean, the pub at the ground level makes excellent dishes.
Moquette isn't very hygienic and if other customers are noisy there no way to get silence.
The location was good but new paving being laid and limited access.
The hot water was brown and after letting reception know on 3 separate occasions we eventually got moved for our last night. We washed for 3 days in a very small sink by boiling cold water. There was no apology and we got the impression they thought we were being a nuisance by complaining. Our initial room was tired and very old and dated but the room we had for the last night was much cleaner and had better facilities but we would not recommend this hotel AT ALL!
friendly staff, good location
bed mattress was broken first night, but was changed after first night, walls are thin and sounds in the corridor are easily heard
Rooms we're clean but basic. Good breakfast and handy having the bar below for good dinners.
Hen parties and stags. There were that many perple running about slamming the fire doors and knocking the doors until 5 in the morning. Staff didn't do any thing to stop it.
Location, value for money
Place is a bit run down
The location was good and had two bars downstairs if you wanted a drink or food close by
Due to the bars being down stairs it was noisy when they had a band playing . The shower wouldn't drain properly so would fill up with water.
Nice staff and excellent location
the hotel is above on a pub, you could enjoy the free music on middle of night :-)
Size of the bathroom was too small, central heating wasn't working.
Location and checkin were excellent. Centre of City close to travel connections.
TV was basic & did not have RTE 1 for news updates.
Worst hotel I've ever stayed in .
The room and bathroom were clean, the food down stairs in bar was beautiful and very good value for money, staff in the bar are very friendly
Bathroom was so small I banged my head of the wall, no remote for the tv, no telephone in the room, not enough towels, cups had tea stains in them, hair dryer is rubbish, cooked breakfast was swimming in grease, soup bowels used for cereal, bathroom looks like a swimming pool after you use the shower. Definitely would not stay here again
Close to Temple Bar, good views from the room, attached to two bars and a theatre
No lift, very narrow staircase up to the 4th floor, decor is very aged and gives the appearance of not being clean, the free wifi does not reach the rooms
Far to hot. Never given a working tv controller. Rooms look horrible and depressing. Bathroom pretty nasty.
There is a niteclub 7 nights a week and the music kept me awake till 4 am, its a nice hotel but if you cant sleep , it kinda defeats the purpose.
The area and the people.
Cant think of anything I didn't like. Maybe a better mattress. No complaints.
They have to make bigger toilets!
Central and functional
Stairs to reception and narrow stars to rooms
Good pub downstairs
Staff not very attentive to guest needs
Location. On the Liffey 100m from O'Connell bridge. Good breakfast. Pub down below also served meals.
The bathroom was very cramped and old fashioned.
