Just a bit of noise from a birthday party but rang reception and they said it was finishing at 12-30am so not too bad. |

Place is quiet, hotel is nice and new Bus stop at 10 minutes by walk. Then must wait for the bus. Then 15 minutes to reach down town. So, hotel at 30 and more minutes from Dublin center. Bathroom were lousy. Breakfast extra 10 € per person. |

This was one of the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. It was completely redone and felt like an exotic castle. I expected old and smaller rooms with poor amenities. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and size of the rooms. I loved this place and the quiteness of it. It was close enough to Dublin for a quick bus ride in. We went for beautiful hikes and runs along the Irish Sea just outside our hotel!! |

The peace and relaxing environment. Location was a plus as it allowed us to visit the suburbs and get away for the noisy city center. The hotel breakfast very tasty and plentiful. Rooms superb for the price. Room did not have any stationary (paper, pen, pencil, envelopes). No shower cap in bathroom. |

I have stayed here before and it is an exquisite hotel. We were upgraded to an executive room which had a four poster bed - beauiful The only criticism I can find was that our room overlooked the back/loading/barrel yard and staff would go outside for a cigarette and it became quite noisy at one point, but it did quieten down. |

Clontarf Castle is located only a short journey from Dublin City Centre away from the hustle. 5 minutes by taxi (12 Euro) or 10 minutes by bus (1.60 Euro) that run every ten minutes or so. The renovated Castle is ideal for couples looking for that special touch for their stay. Required to pay an additional 100 Euros deposit via Credit Card to cover expenses of mini bar in room. (Refunded on departure). Thought this showed a little lack of respect to customers. Minor issue on the whole. |

Friendly staff, always willing to help. Comfortable, clean, good sized rooms. Good location, not far from central Dublin and not far from the ferry port. We had breakfast once and enjoyed it (previously we had got our own). We went in the Fahrenheit grill once and enjoyed that too. Only provided with 1 "shower" towel each day, although the other towels provided were just about big enough, so it wasnt a big issue. |

The hotel is beautiful. It has a few restaurants and bars on the premises, which was quite convenient. And the price was hard to beat. Great value, and only a 20 minute bus ride to the city. No free breakfast. Oh well, not a deal breaker. |

I used the hotel before for business trips and this time I took my family for a weekend in Dublin and my son loved staying in a castle. As usual nothing bad to say about the hotel, it's a great place to stay, nice staff, helpful concierge and great comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet was good. The bar staff was very nice, only one critism was the food that was tasteless that evening at the bar (apparently the cook hadn't tasted his food before serving !); the chicken curry and the noodle dish were so plain we were wondering what it was we were eating. It would be nice if there was a shuttle service maybe in the morning to the city center as it not cheap by taxi (about 15 € single fare). there is an other alternative down the road, the regular bus service that took us down the center in 20mn for 1.8€ p.p. |

It was lots of fun to tour the castle hotel. There is a selection of a formal dinning area and a bar. We choose the bar which worked out great. The ambiance everywhere is authentic. The beds were very comfortable. |

We have stayed here twice now and always have a great time and we are never disappionted if i could make one suggestion it would be nice to be offered a breakfast and dinner package as we always stop in for dinner. It was my boyfriends birthday at the time and they gave us an upgrade which was a nice touch. |

The fact that the hotel is a castle and the immediate impression that the castle has on you as you drive in the entrance. The staff were very friendly which is always nice to have in a hotel. As for food, we only had one meal and we found it to be quite nice. We orginally booked into a double room. We wanted something more special, so on arrival I asked for an upgrade. The lady said that there was a junior suite (room 411) available so we took it. When we got to the room I expected to see, well a suite. What we got was simply a double room with a four poster king bed instead of a double. The bathroom was small and although clean, it was simply too small. The suite simply consisted of a double bedroom sized room with what can only be described as the closet turned into a lounge area. I have stayed in many hotels ranging from an emergency B+B to Executive Suites and this was not a Junior suite...far from it-very far |

This central, modern hotel overlooks the River Liffey and is beside Heuston Station. A 5-minute journey on the LUAS tram brings you to the city centre and lively Temple Bar. |
