We liked the first class service, beautiful well appointed rooms with excellent bed and bathroom, and the in-house restaurants and food service was reasonably priced for the high quality of the food. |

Hotel has lots of character, lots of hideaways where you can sit and chat, take the stairs rather than the elevator. Bar looks lively but not noisy. Restaurant upstairs was expensive for the quality of the meal. My steak was tough, they forgot to bring out half my girlsfriend course and a sidedish until we asked. |

We were only there one evening prior to leaving Ireland after a week's vacation. However, the room was very attractive and comfortable. The reception staff was helpful with directions to the airport. The restaurant staff was initially a bit "haughty." We had just arrived at the hotel after a long day of driving and had not made a reservation for dinner. However, the service after we were seated was fine and a bit friendlier. |

Staff were excellent - we had a noise issue our first night - the next morning the manager organised that we were moved and offered us a discount on that night's stay... dealt with professionally at all times! |

The concierge was very approachable and helpful. The bar and restaurant were excellent and although expensive (however this is Ireland!!), very good service and products. The water, both from the bedroom taps & when ordering tap water in the bars, was horrible. It tasted dusty and I feel too much of this would make you ill. There was a loud noise in the bedroom during our stay, , which sounded like a drill. I think this was when the other guests were using their taps. Also very loud banging on the morning of our last stay with building work going on outside. |

the restuarant, although the buffet breakfast isn't great in respect to the fry. i think the continental breakfast was very good but the traditional irish is much served fresh and shouldn't be on offer as a buffet at all.
i think the yellow rendered side should be cladded in the grey stone thats on the extension |

We loved the room it was very luxurious and relaxing. And the location was superb. The food was very disappointing i must say. Very expensive and not very appetising. I didnt feel that the staff were very helpful or pleasant which was a shame. When we arrived we paid in cash up front and weren't even offered a receipt. We noticed other guest were asked about reservations for dinner but the person we dealt with just seemed quite rude. |

We really enjoyed our stay at the Clontarf Castle!! The rooms were beautiful, the food was exquisite, the services at your hotel were fab!! We are currently living in Moscow, Russia, and this holiday was a perfect "get away" for us!! Your staff was so helpful - We didn't receive our laundry from another castle in Scotland, and your staff helped us retrieve it! Very kind!! |

the staff could be more helpful, had to ask for things more than once, which was a bit annoying. |

Hotel was very good and as depicted on your site, food was superb if the service at first was a bit haphazard, staff kept getting our names wrong- a bit embarrassing for us. Hotel staff not very efficient - had ordered champagne to be in room on arrival - it was not despite reception telling me at check in that it was - had arranged to have guests in for dinner and could not reserve a table in the bar and one other bar was 'reserved for a private function' but was remarkably empty and dark despite the bar being very busy. Newspapers ordered were not delivered and when queried was told that this paper was not available on a Sunday - not true - when pushed they agreed to go out for one, reluctantly. |
