Location was perfect, good value for money and Des that looked after us was a gentleman
A very strong smell of paint in the room, other than that lovely
location value friendlyness
Fab breakfast , excellent locations
Rooms were basic but clean
Stones throw away from local gems, great !
Bedroom good if a bit dated & clean.
Breakfast poor. Coffee awful!
Staff very friendly, excellent breakfast in the morning, very clean and towels changed every day, bedroom very comfortable. Convenient to town center was within walking distance.Very quiet location especially the bedroom at the back of the house.
My fiance and I loved it has so near wedding in Castlecourt hotel and we loved that it was in centre of Westport town and near the sea and views where amazing. And not forgetting the owner he was so kind and good to us, foo was fabulous.
I liked everything about da b&b..it's in. Perfect location for da pubs nd shop. Anytime I come Westport I always stay in this b&b and never found a fault with it. They are helpful.
There was nothing I didn't like about this b&b
Look beyond the 80's decor and you'll find a spacious room, comfortable bed, powerful hot shower, and new flatscreen TV. Breakfast was excellent and hospitality friendly. Location is excellent, a minutes walk from the town centre. Recommended
Good location. Rooms were nicely decorated and was warm
No space in the car park provided by the B&B. It was very noisy in the morning. I could hear the showers from other rooms in use.
ease of check-in
breakfast finishes too early no easy signage to find the car park
Great location, welcoming staff, lovely breakfast!
location, price, and good wifi
food and staff attitude
No issue with our late arrival 10pm. Helpful host gave us codes for internet etc. Prompt tasty breakfast next morning. Spotlessly clean room. TV worked. Heating worked. Window opened.
Squeakiest bed I've ever slept in. Fire door outside room was noisy when anyone came or went. Hot water came out of cold tap when I went to brush my teeth and didn't cool over several minutes
Des and his team/family were really nice, helpful and made the stay a really relaxing one Great breakfast, too
Very comfortable and clean. Great breakfast Close to great spots like Matt Molloy's
Still having trouble figuring out faucet in shower. When it rained the sound of rain dropping on a tin roof right outside my window was very annoying and prolonged falling asleep. Otherwise good bang for the buck....or Euri
In the town. Friendly staff Comfy-bed
Car park nightmare, S turn through building to get to the rear. Large car owned negotiated with millimeters clearance on each side. Owner very helpful in guiding car out through minimum gap in the morning. Dark overpowering furniture in room. No fruit for breakfast.
Good location and friendly owner/operator, traditional old style but comfortable. Excellent value for money
A little run down and the Wi-Fi was very slow.
I was at front room accommodation, therefore, it is difficult to get to sleep with traffic,
Fabulous breakfast in a very pleasant setting
Difficulty keeping and getting wifi signal. Sat in main area to use devices.
the location was excellent the food and the staff was all very good
décor bit dated, but apart from that top class
Lovely room,,friendly staff,,comfortable bed,,,good breakfast...all you need for your stay in Castlebar....
Bedroom and bathroom spotless. Huge breakfast. Enjoyed our stay
as a mature couple in our seventies we didn't like having to climb all the stairs
Right in the centre of town next to the higher echelon castle court. Clean and convenient. Would certainly go back.
I read some reviews after booking and was a little scared, however my stay reminded me that many people are just fussy, never happy moaners who don't understand a good deal. If you expect the taj mahal when you pay 50euro then you should know better then leaving bad reviews for a very b&b (id say its more of a mini hotel)
