The facilities are first class and the hotel is very good value, There was plenty of parking and it was well placed both for the city and the beach. There was a first class breakfast served set you up for the day. Kettle in room in a press , hard enough to access, staff were a litlle bit dour apart from reception staff who were very friendly. Otherwise found it very nice |

Good location, a few minutes drive into town and a good pool and exercise facility. There was noisy construction with a backhoe on Saturday night - seemed crazy to have someone working until 9 PM on Saturday. |

The foyer is an excellent introduction to the hotel. The bar food and service in general was excellent. The breakfast experience was also friendly and the food was good - maybe some cakes and extra fruit would be an idea? The check-in and check-out was also first class. Probably couldn't be helped but obviously there was no view to speak of. I was also slightly disappointed that there were works ongoing and I wasn't advised of this in advance. My view out od the window was rubble and a jcb. |

Reasonably adjacent to my venue for a meeting. My single room 213 with a dbl bed was somewhat dated, chipped mdf furniture, bathroom sink not a good design with water a constant overflow. Bed needs replacing mattress substandard. Rate too pricey for Bed only. Would use b&b locally again. |

i found that the majority of the staff where friendly and helpful and all concentration was on refurb was on the lobby and bar. i found that the rooms where of very bad standard we where moved three times in one night due to maintenance problems .No hot water, broken light and cable fixtures no ventalation in the bathroom etc. |

It held the venue I was going out for and the bar staff were great. The receptionist. She was very nonchalant when I checked in originally then she gave me room but it was occupied. Went back down to receptionist. She didn't apologize. When taking a shower someone came into my room!!. Either the computer wasn't registering that people were in the rooms or the receptionist wasn't focused and she didn't care. |

not much. It was perfectly fine in what it provided but the food was dismal- precooked breakfast when there were 10 people there. it was pretentious and empty. There was no connection with the area. Polish staff at night not very experienced. |

The foyer, bar area and outdoors area was lovely. Unfortauntely I didn't get a chance to use the leisure centre. I felt that the advertisement when booking led me to believe that the Hotel was much nearer to Salthill (i.e 5min walk) but receptionist indicated a 40min walk. I felt that there was no amenities/attractions is the general area of the hotel. The rooms were okay - a little cramped. The pillows were very flat and uncomfortable, although the bed was comfortable. |

The main facilities like the bar and leisure centre are good. The rooms are extremely basic, the bed linen was a disgrace - torn bed throw. The first room I went to the bathroom was underconstruction, the next room I moved to have a big wet patch on the carpet outside the bathroom door which couldn't be avoided walking in and out of the bathroom. |

It was a quite hotel We booked two rooms but there was a "leak" in one of the room so we only got one room. The hotel said the bed was wet and they were unable to dry it out but yet they could put an extra bed into the other room. Seems to me like the hotel had overbooked - not impressed at all |

This was our 2nd stay at the Clybaun and the refurbishment was amazing. The new owners are really taking the time to higher the standards of the hotel, and this has had a noticeable affect on the staff who are all happy in their work. The rooms are particularly hot even without the heating on, and the windows do not open sufficiently to allow fresh air into the room. The installation of air conditioning may be something to consider. |

Really was only to put my head down for the night, only arrived at the hotel at 8.30pm and had a shower (which was a little chilly) and hit the bed, and was gone again for 8am, no time for breakfast!! No complaints, very well priced hotel |

Food was very nice in the bar. The girl behind the desk was very unhelpful and would not let me check in until 3pm, even though it was 2.40pm and the room was probably ready anyway. |

The bar area was really well designed (just renovated), didnt get to use the pool but the facilities looked great. The spa offer was brilliant but again unfortunately I didnt have time for this either. The food in the bar was also great and the portions huge. The rooms were not great but I am sure you will be renovating them at some stage. I also was not a huge fan of the breakfast, it was a bit soggy. |
