Hotel Clybaun  

i enjoyed my stay because of the comfort and peace in my room. staff were so nice and friendly .Ross the bar man was very friendly and helpfull I would stay here again and i have told my friends.

My Husband and I really injoyed our stay , we were welcomed by friendly staff, and we had great fun using the gym and pool which is a great asset to the hotel. The hotel is idealy located for both city and beach which we got to see both on our short stay. And it is very reasonably priced ( watch out for the bargains )

A shuttle bus to the city would be great, or at the least an arrangement with a taxi company for a set reduced rate.

Friendliness , effeciency , leisure centre, value for money. Would definitely recommend.

could not find fault with anything .The only very minor fault would be the location. A fair walking distance to Salthill or Galwayt City.; but there is a good local bus service.

Excellent value well up to normal standard required for four star hotel

Hotel well located for visiting surrounding towns like Salthill etc. Hotel bright and airey as was our room! Breakfast was fantastic and service staff couldn't have done more to help. Booked on a flash deal, fantastic value.

My husband & I enjoyed staying at the hotel. I however could have done with WIFI in the room. Having to keep going down to the lobby was a tad inconvenient. The staff were very friendly & helpful with directions to places various !! The plunger in the sink wasn't working very well. Suffice to say we will come back ! Thank you v much . Mary & John

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel - it was cheaper to book 2 rooms instead of a 4-bed in a hostel in Galway - on a flash deal. Rooms were nice. Had a bath. Clean and comfortable. Staff were nice. Location is important - only book if you have a car or are willing to find a bus out that way from Galway.

Good location and great value for money

Not open so everyone had to eat in the bar..

A really excellent value hotel and perfect base for a weekend of activities in Galway city/Conamara region. The location initially seemed a bit out of the way but on arrival we realised how convenient it was to everywhere. The facilities are great as is the atmosphere and the rooms are clean and well equipped. The hotel bar serves good hearty and affordable priced meals also.

We opted for the bed only rate on booking but decided to pay extra for the continental breakfast on our first morning which was promoted as a selection of fruit, cereals and breads. The only fruit available however were prunes, cereals were Cornflakes, Rice Krispies or muesli and bread was white pan or brown bread. Breads coul dbe toasted and orange juice, tea and coffee comprised the drinks. It wasn't as wide a selection as hoped for and really not worth 6.50euro. Also on offer as extra was a full Irish breakfast for ~9euro. Needless to say we did not take breakfast there the second morning.
