Hotel Clybaun (克里博酒店)    

it was very budget frienly relaxing and close to town food was good and i found the girls at reception very helpful

coffee/ tea "hidden" away in bottom cabinet in room. Found it on our last day. No face clothes in bath. Only one bar soap.

leisure centre was very enjoyable.breakfast was good.

bar staff on a saturday nite didnt hve a clue....

All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic. Room was clean and tidy.

Having to go upstairs to the women's changing rooms at the leisure centre and then back down stairs to the pool area. A very minor thing really.

Stayed in hotels all over Ireland This one is certainly top of our list Friendliest staff we've had the pleasure to meet (especially sunny in the bar, couldn't do enough for us)

We were left standing in the rain while trying to get through to the porter on a mobile no. It took 10 / 15 minutes to get throug. I tried phoning to get directions as we got lost and again 15minutes on hold and then was cut off. I spent 5 minutes at reception on one of the evening before anyone arrived and the phones were rining constant. The hair dryer in the room once it got hot cut off. The service in the bar was very poor the night we arrived we had a meal in the bar both bar staff and the manager on duty never cleared away glasses etc left from previous guests the dishes were still tere after we had our meal. All in all not a pleasent stay.

Nice comfortable bar with bar food available, nice helpful staff. Lovely conservatory area for sitting in. Near Salthill beach. Good deals in the spa.

Wi-fi only in the lobby.

Reception phoned room dead on 12 to say check out was 12. Really felt under pressure to leave room. However on a positive note a lovely porter helped with my bags while my husband collected our car.

My friend and i needed a break and i've family in Galway,so we combined the two.I would, and have recommended the hotel to my friends.I personally loved the hot tub. We had a lovely time and totally enjoyed ourselves,Thanks.

The pool was great. Room was very cheap. Continental breakfast pretty ok.

Bar menu selection was very disappointing and unhealthy- no salad available. First time I've left a hotel every evening to go find a nice meal. Bedroom walls paper thin - I could hear conversations, singing, etc. from family staying in room next door. Bed not very comfy either.

You can't fault the quality of the accommodation.

Oh dear! What a difference a couple of weeks and different staff make. I stay in hotels on about 200 nights each year and actually do know what I am talking about. Ignored in the bar to the point that I eventually became so fed up with waiting I walked down the road to another where I was welcomed with open arms. This hotel ignored my special requests which were made at the time of booking and didn't contact me to say that they couldn't accommodate those requests, even though they have done so before. They simply took my money and ran! When brought to their attention, instead of putting things right, they tried to blame booking.com for their own errors. Two weeks ago I would have travelled fifty miles out of my way to stay here, now I would rather sleep in the car than ever stay here again. The hospitality In Ireland is famous throughout the world for being simply the best there is. I have experienced a higher level of hospitality in the third world and former Eastern Bloc States where ther is no competition between hotels than I experienced on this particular stay at this hotel. Certainly I wouldn't stay here again and couldn't recommend this place to anyone else until certain members of staff have been retrained.

We liked it from the moment we checked in how pleasant the receptionist was,the room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable.We had a great sleep,didnt have long enough stay to use all facilities but would go back.

There was nothing we didnt like we hope to be back again as we go to galway city a lot and got a great rate

Had a grt time, food was very good and well priced.

Didnt want to leave..
