I really enjoyed the small fishing village atmosphere. Bernie was very helpful and engaging, which was good for me traveling alone.
I was walking and didn't know where to find it when I got off the bus. I didn't like walking on the busy highway. But I soon found a back way to the village.
Very helpful and it was quiet?
Our hostess was very friendly and caring and genuine. The location was perfect...far enough from the village to make one get a little exercise....but the weather was brilliant. Good breakfast menu.
We can't really find anything to carp about other than to say that compared to other similar B&Bs we felt the price was a little on the high side. €60 per night rather than €70 would bring us back there again.
Friendly and very pleasant owner. Good car parking.
A full Irish breakfast was very basic - bacon, egg, sausage only. Could have included black pudding, white pudding, mushrooms or beans.
We stayed there for a night while paying a visit to Connemara National Park and we liked the B&B. It was very comfortable and clean. Bernie is a great host and she prepared a great breakfast! Highly recommended!
The area as a whole for a first visit, beautiful scenery, friendly villages etc. Bernie very friendly and helpful
