Hotel itself was clean, nicely done out, lobby looked good. Breakfast was buffet style, but had everything there - but you did have to make your own toast, which i can imagine could get a bit annoying if everyone was using the toaster! The room was clean and had nice decor, bed was huge (we had a King room) and very comfy - bathroom could have been a bit more modern, but was absolutely fine - (although not enough towel hooks!) All in all a very pleasant stay. |

I thought the room was tastefully decorated and the atmosphere was peaceful. It was ideally located for shopping, bars and restaurants. |

The hotel was conveniently located within easy walking distance of many attractions without being placed so that it was noisy at night |

Cental location; excellent value for money. Very friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast was ok but would probably have been a little monotonous for a longer stay; I stayed 3 days. |

Staff were awfull nice and very helpfull, loved having a iron and bord in the room and not having to ask for one. Desing of room was lovely too. also very quite room, (with the window closed) even with all the buses going by. Oh and 10 euro for a carpark space in dublin is the best I've seen. Free internet in room too, so bring you labtop...! Bit of a walk to bars and clubs. But thats not why I picked this hotel. |

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, small but very nice. The location was brillant,it was a short walk from O Connell St and from all the public transport. It is also a half an hour walk from the O2 which was great because it is very hard to get a taxi outside the O2 after a concert. The hotel is a little hard to find. Id recommend get a taxi to the hotel or else you will be walking around for ages trying to find it. |

Proximity to city centre The only minor fault is that the shower dispenser was almost empty on my first day of stay |

Friendly staff! Leva on reception went the extra mile to book our two groups together. The young Polish girl (Joanna?) in the bar was very friendly. Reasonable buffet breakfast for 8 euros. Rooms very nice and very clean. Only 5 minutes walk from O'Connell Street and 15-20 minute walk to Grafton Street and Temple Bar area. On checkout, my credit card was debited in gbp (Sterling). I would have liked to have paid in Euros. On my invoice, it stated that I chose to pay by gbp, which I had not. I was not given the choice! When I challenged this, I got some 'cock and bull' story that because my credit card was British, I had to pay in Sterling! What a load of tosh!Shame, this spoils a good visit to the Maldron. |

This smart, stylish, upgraded hotel is just off O'Connell Street in Dublin city centre, a short stroll from shopping, Temple Bar, Trinity College, St. Stephens Green, galleries and attractions. |
