Very helpful when we asked for something it got dealt with straight away.
The location is excellent, close to everything you want, very helpful and friendly staff!
The street was quite noisy, but I suppose every street in the centre of Dublin has this problem! The wifi signal was weak in our room and the room looked a little bit old fashined and shabby, but that didn't really matter to us!
Noise from outside
Staff was very helpful arranging a couple of surprises for the wife's birthday . Would definitely stay again
Everything about the hotel
Friendly staff.very helpful.
*Location - just about perfect - seconds from pubs, shops, restaurants, river, sights *The lift was useful for our heavy bags, and this is not common in old buildings here *Pleasant staff made us feel welcome *Large window overlooking street in character building *Could walk to airport bus at O'Connell
*Room had lots of flies inside when we opened the window *TV was placed so you couldn't see it from the bed *Not many channels on TV *Had requested bath - chose hotel because room was meant to offer bath - and got very cramped shower room *Room was too small for us and our luggage
location pleasant staff
nothing to not like
Everything was brilliant, the location is fantastic. For the price we paid I would book Again. IRELAND is ace!!!!
Nothing to complain about
The location was the best. Right in the heart of the city. Everything was close by. Situated in one of the cities main street. Very helpful staff. Only 7 car spaces so be in early as they have first in first served. But there is a car park near by with good rates.
Friendly staff, Nice breakfast area, comfy bed, noisy street but good sound insulation
The corridors - change those carpets!
availability good breakfast
This is not a 3 star hotel, very small rooms, very small bathroom, old and very minimal furniture expensive for the offer!!
Parking dreadful Hotel more like boarding house No facilities Dreadful place
walking distance to anything: shopping, Temple bar, river... Well situated and quite good to stay for a few days. Easy to get to the hotel and to go away by local buses, hop-on hop off, taxis... Temple bar is in 10 minutes by walk via the city center.
Lift was said/marked as out of order however staff used it, water-pressure was extreme weak and can't changed (shower head is mounted on the wall), if you leave the the window opened, be ready to have noisy dawn (garbage-collection, buses, people)
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was great value for money. It's basic but clean. There was no problem with leaving my car in the car park for a few hours after checking out.
The lift is out of order at the moment, which obviously can't be helped. The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak. There is noise from the street but it's a city centre location so that is to be expected.
Elevator never worked
Location was great, handy to buses to and from airport. Staff friendly and helpful Good breakfast buffet. Good value for money
Room facing the street was noisy even with window closed, but it is a busy central city street. Lift not working while we were there. Rooms quite small but adequate.
position was good, staff was helpful, and form our room (4th floor) not noise could be heard in the night. Anyway, the surrounding of the hotel was quite silent, especially compared to other close areas.
lifter was out of service for the whole week
Good breakfast, helpful staff. I was very pleased with my stay at Dublin City Inn. The only negative aspect was street noise. Requesting a room at the back of the hotel should alleviate that.
Unhelpful staff. Pretty close to shady neighborhoods.
The noise from the street below. Guess it is a Main Street but could do with better windows that keep the constant noise out and actually close properly
Location and staff!
friendly, helpful staff; clean, comfortable, spacious room; nice lounge area, with patio
needs some upgrading (e.g., carpeting), and although cheaper than most Dublin hotels, still pricey
This hotel has something I'd never seen before: a guest room. It is a living room with tv, bathroom, sofas where you can just wait for your room if you arrive early, or just refresh yourself and recharge you cell batteries before leaving. So comfortable!
