The price is excellent The location is good The staff are friendly professional and helpful
The hotel is very old fashioned and tired looking The shower cubicle is tiny The whole place is in need of updating and modernising The wifi was very weak in the room.
Great location, lovely helpful staff. Would happily stay here again.
Staff were very friendly and helpful!!! Location was perfect!
Location was good.
Accommodation was basic but adequate for a 2 night stay - wouldn't be for a longer stay.
The buffet was pretty good for the money, the location was excellent. I had a medical emergency while visiting Dublin, and the staff was very helpful in getting me to the hospital, and helping me catch a flight back to the States. I would most certainly stay here again...when I'm feeling better!
My room was a tad noisy with hall traffic...coming and going...but everything quieted down by 10:30-11pm...
The location is perfect because it is right near the main street of Dublin and it's near from de bus stop from/to the airport. In a street with shops and supermarkets and very safe. Staff very nice and it has elevator.
The water shower didn't have much pressure.
Excellent location. Really friendly and helpful staff. Better than expected. Great for a weekend break with the city at your fingertips.
Quite noise, but this is due to the great central location. Standard facilities but adequate for price and purpose.
Enjoyed most of it and the facilities were good would have been great though if Bar facilities were made available as we had to go out for a Drink
close to city center
Lift not working for two days. Poor disabled access
Location. Facilities in room were more than adequate. Mirrors were fabulous. Great to have a safe. Ability to open windows.
Ability to control the shower.
Location very central
Rooms are very noisy, you can hear others in their rooms. The hotel is tired and in great need to refurbishment.
Ensuite room with a very comfortable bed located within walking distance from all the main Dublin attractions and means of transports. Temple bar just 10 minutes. Complimentary tea and coffee included in the price.Very positive experience! Recommended!
Background noise at the 3rd floor.
The hotel was located near centre of Dublin and only 5 mins walk to Temple Bar, Lots of places to eat near by and sight seeing tours close. Good breakfast. Comfortable beds. Good wifi. Staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel needs refurbishment, or at least the carpets cleaning, the room smelt of stale alcohol and cigarettes. Our clothes smelt of cigarettes just from beong in the room, even though we don't smoke.
City centre, just off O'Connell Street. All the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Outside was a very busy street with all kinds of restaurants and shops and near to public transport.
Nothing. Great value for money
Convenient for the shopping streets, Trinity college and the Academy music venue but still nice and quiet
Nothing to dislike
I liked the room (going south/east), because I saw the sky getting brighter in the morning and I loved the irish breakfast!
Good clean hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast with plenty of choice. Excellent location within walking distance of all I wanted to visit and close to bus stop for airport bus.
Central location close to everything, helpful staff.
When we stayed there appeared to be a problem with low shower pressure. The showers have fixed heads; the first room had very low pressure which meant the stream went directly down against the wall, making it virtually impossible to stand under the stream of water and have a proper shower. Were given temporary access to a second room where the shower was only slightly better. A third room we were shown had ok pressure but after waiting for a few minutes wouldn't get hot. The fourth room was fine as the shower head was movable and attached to a bath but had a leak. Luckily we could see the funny side but the shower problems we encountered were pretty unbelievable even for a basic hotel. I should mention that the staff did everything they reasonably could though. I should point out that we really weren't being fussy, low pressure is fine we just wanted to be able to have a normal shower. I've never had problems with showers in hotels previously and never had to make a complaint before as it's something I don't like to do unless necessary. Another thing worth noting is there is some street noise due to the central location, although it's not too bad. The single beds were a tiny bit smaller than what I'm used to. Everything else was fine.
Breakfast was varied and good. Waiting staff were very pleasant and helpful.
No electricity in the room during the first night or next morning. The lift was supposed to be working the day we arrived but was out of action the whole weekend. We were on the fourth floor. The shower screen fell off when you slid it along to open and close. The shower unit was greasy and the screen was layered with a scum substance. No offer of discount was given.
Location Comfortable room Friendly staff Parking
Faulty facilities in bathroom Stain on bedding
Close to the bus station & Railway station. Not to far to lug bag. Friendly staff. Good Breakfast and plenty of it Tea / Coffee facilities in the room
The room décor is getting a little run down and could do with a spruce up. Water not always hot when you need it i.e. T time TV station coverage and picture was basic
Good location- helpful staff
Entrance and reception area poor giving bad first impression.
Great location for city centre great shower great breakfast plenty of choice but no white pudding! Will defo stay here again!
