The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was great value for money. It's basic but clean. There was no problem with leaving my car in the car park for a few hours after checking out.
The lift is out of order at the moment, which obviously can't be helped. The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak. There is noise from the street but it's a city centre location so that is to be expected.
Elevator never worked
Good breakfast, helpful staff. I was very pleased with my stay at Dublin City Inn. The only negative aspect was street noise. Requesting a room at the back of the hotel should alleviate that.
Unhelpful staff. Pretty close to shady neighborhoods.
The noise from the street below. Guess it is a Main Street but could do with better windows that keep the constant noise out and actually close properly
This hotel has something I'd never seen before: a guest room. It is a living room with tv, bathroom, sofas where you can just wait for your room if you arrive early, or just refresh yourself and recharge you cell batteries before leaving. So comfortable!
it is a nice hotel and fairly close to most things. the value for money is great. the rooms are hotelish but this being said are clean, comfortable and room to do most things, the staff are also happy and friendly. i did enjoy my stay here, was a nice place.
the free parking
light not working in bathroom
Very handy for Main Street -O'Connell street, friendly staff very helpful with telling you where to eat and different routes to take on the buses! Very comfy bed good nights sleep
Did find the rooms quite close together, would tend to hear the neighbours doors bang next to us late at night!
Warm summer evenings made it a little noisy outside at night but we travel with earplugs. Loved the window that opens for fresh air and being able to see the street scene below Stores and restaurants all within a few blocks. Very clean. Very helpful staff. Hope we get to go back again.
Stale smoke smell
The location was excellent, the wifi was in good order, and the bed actually had a top sheet, which appears to be unheard of in Ireland elsewhere.
The lift was broken for the duration of our 4-day stay. Additionally, the toilet in the room had a broken lid, light fixtures were lacking coverings, and the shower layout was small, awkward and frankly a little bizarre.
Cost and value for money No breakfast and paid 160 for the night
Room so small could hardly walk round the bed. Room smelt of stale ashtrays Smell of the kitchen every time we opened the window. Room 118, not a good option!
I've stayed in this hotel before and again it doesn't disappoint! Its location is what sets it off for me! You are in the middle of the city and my favourite part is the free parking! Booked a twin room but all they had available was a double which we didn't mind but they threw in a complimentary breakfast for the trouble!! Excellent service and staff!
Only fault is the noise but it's to be expected when your sleeping in the middle of a city so I can't complain!!
Excellent location, in the city centre, close to train station and bus or luas stops as well. A bit old looking from the outside but the room was nicely renovated and clean. Friendly and helpful staff.
The lift was out of order, had to climb the stairs with our luggage.
The room itself was good sized. Also the bathroom.
The entrance is dogy and alarming.
Excellent position, easy access to everything, tourist sites, shopping and airport buses. Clean, staffs are really nice and helpful.
For people who want quiet may not like here. We've asked a quiet room but we were in a room facing the street, if you let window open it's really harf to sleep cus there are casino/bar just in front the hotel. If not, the rest is fine.
Very outdated, 4th floor with broken lift, bathroom floor very dirty size of single bed more like a cot, quite expensive for the offering.
Free Wi Fi Location
Very expensive for these conditions. Smelly room Very small Toliet Seat lid broke off Window was broken
location staff very friendly car parking
So close to the hustle and bustle of town
Excellent location. The room was a reasonable size. Comfortable twin beds.
We could hear the seagull noise on the 4th floor even with the windows shut.
Everything was great
Lack of a fridge and shower very very small
Location is very good, and has parking.
Parking is very limited and on an alley that you'll certainly miss. Not bad if you leave the car for all the extent of your stay.
