The staff were very friendly and the food was good value and plentiful.
The room was very very basic. The bathroom had only a net curtain on the window and we were in a room facing the Main Street. We were afraid to turn on the bathroom for fear off been seen from the street. The room was very cold when we arrived however on investigating we realised the radiator was down low. However over all it was was it was. But a bit pricey for such basic facilities
Good food and plenty of it. Lively atmosphere in the bar. Bedrooms not big but quiet and comfortable with adequate en suite bathrooms.
Reception area small and dated but had a warm gas fire.
privacy.and great breakfast....also the price at this time of year as other hotels in area charge too much
I found no fault,,,
Friendly hospitable clean
Not a double aa requested but two singles pushed together. Didnt sleep well. Disappointing and deceitful to be fobbed off with this on a rare night away for us.
The bed was comfy. It's right in the middle of Ballinamore
You could hear people who were actually trying to be quiet down the hall. There was a weird buzzing sound outside my window, like lights or something. Breakfast was very greasy. Seriously needs to be done up. Very.... Dank? I think that's the word.
The town festival was on all the week so it was impossible to get any sleep until 3 o/clock in the morning I was not told of this when I made the booking
lovely staff very friendly nice room and an excellent breakfast. I will be back
loved the general atmosphere ultra casual and friendly. The food was good and plentiful .It was quite at night even though it was center of town . The bed was much better then your average hotel for comfort.
If one was being critical the bedroom was small ,but for the money we paid it was great value especially at a weekend .
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, very tasty and plentiful. The room was clean and quiet.
Food, private car park, shower
Decor a bit dated, but no big problem.
Bed was very comfortable, lots of hot water, excellent breakfast. We were made welcome and they looked after our motorcycle very nicely. Town centre location, but not noisy despite our room facing the high street.
Room 27 has a good bed, but there is a little too much furniture there. Perhaps one table or drawer unit less would give a bit more room.
The breakfast was great,,, freshly made to order,,,the hotel was great value for money,,, welcoming and friendly,,, casual and low key,,,
Nothing,, good value for money,,,,
Staff were so helpful nothing was too much trouble. Will be back again
The owners are nice people but my negative comments below could be the sign of the times, not sure but I just being totally honest as per MY stay
Very noisy at night we checked out 2 days early having paid for four nights. Food very greasy and place starting to look tired and run down.
Owners very friendly and making best of their facility. Food a bit so so but it does not make any claims. They are getting a bit of opposition so hope they steer well.
Got beans and chips with breakfast fry. Thought I was in a different country. Fair enough told them next day not to pile them in Had my car parked on street and had a little harm one night ,didnt see until home but think car badges were taken there. Did not tell staff as I didnt see at time leaving.
The breakfasts were excellent. Fred went out of his way to make sure everything was just as you wanted it.
Made feel at home and food very high standard Staff were very friendly
Friendly family hotel offering good value and good food.
Bedrooms a bit dated.
Staff,Food,Cosiness and warmed of the hotel
Central to town.
Misinformed. Understood hotel was adjacent to Trim, Meath just across the river. In fact it is miles away in Leitrim!
The staff were just about the best I have found anywhere. Extremely helpful and keen to provide good service. Meals great. Quiet location in a lovely old village. Recommend highly as an "off the beaten track" stay. Would return there if again in that part of Ireland.
We thought our room needed some housekeeping attention as did the hotel generally. The bed was only fair. However the good points made up for this..
The staff were so friendly and helpful .. The bed was sooo comfy
Rooms need a bit updating
Made feel welcome by all.
Bar was v expensive
