MAry our host was fantastic, and the breakfast was terrific

Very friendly and made to feel at home. Quick walk into town [2 min]. Breakfast was excellent!

from the moment we walked in the door we had the warmest of welcomes. The room was really spacious, comfortable, warm and better than many hotels I've experienced. Lots of choice for breakfast and very relaxed about timing! We weren't hounded out of the room at 10 in the morning, the landlady was more than happy to accommodate a late breakfast. She gave us lots of suggestions about what we could do and where the best places (and most readonable if that's what you're after) were in the town.

The lovely relaxed atmosphere and Mary's singing and musical entertainment was a joy.anyone staying here could not fail to have a wonderful stay

Beautiful B&B in a fantastic location in the lovely town of Clifden. Clifden is a great base for exploring all that Connemara has to offer. Mary, the owner, was warm, welcoming and ensured that our stay was very enjoyable and comfortable. A lovely B&B, which I would highly recommend.

Mary. She knows everybody and recommended the nicest restaurant for us to go to. We were down in Connemara for my mums birthday and Mary went above and beyond to make sure we had a great weekend. We even got big hugs when we were leaving :)

Outstanding hostess, comfortable room, lovely sitting room, easy well lighted walk to restaurants and pubs.

The location of the house - a couple of minutes walk from the town centre is ideal. Mary is a great hostess - friendly and helpful. She also speaks French and German fluently.

Very good Irish Breakfast!

Nothing was too much trouble for the Owner who made us feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. There were plenty of places to visit and a number of good restaurants in the area. The large parking area was a useful addition.

On arrival we received a warm welcome. Our host Mary impressed us with her multilingual dealings with her other guests. Her musical recital on fiddle, tin whistle and beautifully singing at breakfast was a delight. A different experience! Thank you Mary.

Warm welcome-owner has excellent and exceptional facility with languages. Musical ability and breakfast performance of hostess also highly unusual. Overall an engaging and enjoyable stay..

We found the hostess and her daughter to be very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fine and the cooked breakfast was good. We enjoyed the concert given by the hostess during and following the breakfast. She was informative in explaining the music and provided an authentic Irish musical experience. The hostess speaks German and French and this would be very helpful for non-English speakers. The room was very clean and there were ample electrical outlets in convenient places. We were given a hair dryer and tea/coffee service. When the phone was temporarily out due to mechanical issues, the hostess provided an alternative that worked very well.

We are sorry to say that the facility has seen better days. We found our hostess to be charming and well meaning, but this does not change the fact that the room was simply not comfortable. Our room and bed were very small making movement in the room and sleeping very difficult. The tube-type television had a 13 inch screen, was mounted over 6.5 feet overhead on the wall, was not equipped with remote control capabilities and had approximately 4 channels. Unfortunately, it was very hot the day we stayed and since the facility has no air-conditioning, we were miserably hot for most of the night. We are sorry to sound harsh but we would have appreciated knowing these things from previous travelers so we could have made a more informed choice.

The proprietor, Mary, gave us such a warm welcome. The room and bed were very comfortable. The breakfast was freshly cooked for each person and was delicious. Mary was so friendly and gave us a real taste of the West of Ireland with her tin whistle playing at breakfast. She was so helpful and told us where the best beaches were etc. It is so close to the town of Clifden and yet not too close - a five min walk where there are some fab eateries e.g. 'Off the Square' and 'Mitchels'. I would highly recommend this B&B for value for money and superb location.

La situation est idéale pour visiter le Connemara. Mary, la propriétaire, est sympa comme tout. Elle connaît parfaitement la région et nous a préparé des itinéraires de visite parfaits en fonction du temps que nous avions. Elle prépare elle-même un bon petit déjeuner irlandais et quand vous avez terminé celui-ci, elle vous interprète quelques chants et musiques locaux, c'était super.

Good quiet location close to the town, Friendly staff.

Had booked a twin room for 2 nights months in advance as it was the Marathon weekend, my friend bailed last minute and I asked a week before hand if I could change or would still have to pay full price for twin. Was Informed not possible to change and I would have to pay in full. On arrival I was given a double room and not twin as ordered, so there was room for change. Uht milk in Bedroom was out of date. Wifi password was about 30 characters long! First time in my life I saw such a code. I tried about 10 times but it would not work. Got the impression they dont want u using it.

L'accueil, la gentillesse et la sympathie de Mary. Sa très jolie maison. Le petit déjeuner extra, accompagné de musique.

la maison et le terrain (laissé quasi à l'abandon) et son état extérieur (vétuste) la literie (comme dans quasi tous les B&B) logé au rez de chaussée (business business car tout le monde loge à l'étage, mais ca fait un peu plus de sous!). rez de chaussé du coup pas propre ni rangé.

Le confort douillet des lits et l'aspect général des chambres

L'aspect extérieur de la demeure n'est pas très gai mais surtout, et cela gâche absolument tout le plaisir du séjour dans cet endroit : la porte de la cuisine qui cogne et résonne chaque matin à partir de 8h00 dans toute la maison, impossible dormir ou même de lire, c'est un cauchemar. Et Mary de répondre "Ah bon, on ne me l'avait jamais dit" ... no comment !
