Staff & food. The bedrooms are in need of refurbishment the paintwork was dirty as was the carpet. They are tired & would not be worthy of 4 stars. The swimming pool is small & again the whole area needs redecoration & modernisation.

Immaculately clean, wonderful staff on reception, location beside Galway Bay excellent, sea view from room, proximity to Galway and Connemara, Decor and facilities for guests excellent. Breakfast was one of the best ever experienced in a Hotel One of a few hotels that I will stay in again It was a little more expensive than i had expected, but having said that it deserves all of its 4 stars

Really enjoyed my time at the hotel. Myself and my son spent two nights. The pool was lovely and the breakfast each morning was excellent. Only one thing which i had concerns about was the fish pool outside the back. Very dangerous with young children about!

The staff responded quickly to our request. Breakfast was good. The cost of the hotel was too high for a hotel in the middle of the country side. Alice mcgarrell

The location, the scenery is beautiful and it'svery near where my family live. The staff are friendly and the hotel itself is magnificent. The food was excellent and our room was lovely. Good value. I was surprised that there were no lifts as I was unsure if this would affect access for disable visitors. The housekeeping staff were very late cleaning and replenishing our room, we had to ask for clean cups and they left no coffee or extra milk for our second morning there. There were not enough towels in the bathroom and also only one shower cap. Also when we arrived after a long, arduous journey, our room had a double bed with a duvet and I had requested twin beds, one with blankets which was verified by email, so we had to wait whilst this was changed. The potatoes at dinner on the first night were re heated so I was unable to eat them as they had an unusual undertaste

Excellent location, very comfortable surroundings, good facilities, lovely walks and sitting area at rear of hotel.breakfast very good. Hot tub has been removed so web site needs to be updated. our room was not ready at 3 oclock but thought that since hotel was not full we thought we would be offered alternative room. no papers -dissapointing as available in all hotels we stayed in-- had to walk to service station for paper.
