good location; pleasant staff; close proximity to aran islands; leisure centre. the twin beds are too narrow and too short; restaurant is way too expensive for dinner. |

Staff were friendly weather was nice lots of nice walk way places to sit and take in the view and sea air. Good childrens play area. I booked my room over the internet the room was nothing like what was on the net as it appeared that on the net there were new rooms we were given an old room with a faded bed spread that was shabby and worn looking. We booked a table in the dining room for 7.30 and did not get our main course until approx 9oc . On our first morning at breakfast we had a half hour delay for our hot breakfast we were told that fish would take fifteen mins but it took 30mins. |

Friendliness of the staff. High standard of facilities. I was told on arrival that I had been upgraded to a club suite - somehow I ended up on the side of the hotel with no view. I wonder what my original room/view was going to be! Also, went for a shower after swimming in the pool - was amazed to discover that the 2 women staff members on duty were standing almost beside me as I washed. They were accessing the storeroom for pool cleaning equipment I think! Although they could not see me directly when I was under the shower hose, they could see my genitals clearly when I walked to & from the shower. I don't know who was more surprised - I thought I accidently walked out of the changing rooms - however I got the feeling it was a common occurence for them as they gazed interestingly at me. |

It was so relaxing and the staff were excellent and able to cope with any of our requirments. The food was excellent and serving breakfast until 11am gives people time to relax in the morning. Excellent choice. |

The staff were extremely friendly and could not do enough to help us. They even upgraded us because it was my husband's birthday. It was a brilliant hotel! |

Lovely hotel, overlooking the bay. Beautiful little areas, indoors, to sit and enjoy the views. So convenient for the city also, eventhough it's in the countryside. Dreadful experience in the hotel bar with their barfood menu. Terrible service....... Two main courses arrived and the third didn't arrive untill we were finished ours....... In-experienced wait staff I thought, eventhough she did apologise very nicely and we got complimentary desserts. Wouldn't eat in the bar again.......... |

Relaxing The room we stayed in was on the third floor of a wood construction, the room was superb but all the floor creaked very loudly as you walked around the room. We did complain the the hotel about this on check out |

I attended a wedding the food and ambiance were excellent I thought the hotel room was diSAPPOINTING esp the shower considering I was paying €140 for 1 person. I also thought the breakfast was unexciting and lacked variety and the dining room was haphazard. I'm sorry for being negative but I felt I was grossly overcharged. |

Very pleased with the overall experience. Exceptionally good weather helped the feel good factor but nevertheless we were happy with our choice. Windows in our part of the hotel had obviously been battered by a recent Atlantic gale and they were covered with sea/salt spray. Small point and it is made constructively, but it's the small details that separate the good from the very good |

The view across Galway bay was wonderful. Great location. There was only lukewarm water and we could not have a shower.. Bathroom could do with updating considering it was expensive to stay at the hotel. |

This was our second weekend stay at this hotel and can thoroughly recommend it. Fabulous view from the restaurant (food was excellent) across Galway Bay. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nice, relaxed atmosphere in a hotel that is ideally located for touring Connemara whilst only 15 mins from Galway city. The room we stayed in on this occasion was a bit small and oddly shaped - disappointing for a 4 star hotel. |

I liked the staff, the leisure centre and outdoor hot tub. I liked the coastline and seaviews, and the walkway that brought you down to the sea on the hotel grounds. |

It was a fabulous hotel, the staff were extremely helpful, i had to upgrade my room at the last minute and they couldn't have been more helpful. Views and surroundings were fabulous, the food was delicious, my only negative was that i found it slightly pricey when compared to other hotels, but in saying that, i would say it was money well spent. |

We attended a wedding. The service during the wedding was excellent. The swimming pool was clean and warm. The first room we were given stank of stale smoke. At 190 euro a night, this is unacceptable. Also, there were completely different rates for the rooms depending on where and how the rooms were booked. |
