Our whole purpose of going there was sleeping we could sit up at the open fire and chill out with a pint. But there was no open fire and we were very disappointed. It's the little things that make you happy
Location is great. Food very well presented and very good. I arrived late and had to leave early morning and did get a chance to fully enjoy hotel.
In the room I stayed in, Window safety opening restrainer was broken. and shower water was cold.
The decor of the hotel was beautiful with amazing views of the coastline. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly too. The food in the hotel was amazing and very reasonably priced.
The wifi was slow which didn't bother us but I'd imagine if you were staying there for business and needed to work this would be problematic.
Staff very friendly especially in bar. Lovely atmosphere in hotel. Great facilities
Location, staff, large & comfortable bathroom & bedroom
Leisure centre in need of more care. Extremely warm in some areas eg corridor restaurant. Wifi didn't work in room
Beautiful location. Great staff. Comfortable rooms.
Staff could speak irish and very friendly
Room to warm
Everything. Comfort, Space, Relaxing, Food, Attentive Staff in all departments. Pure Luxury!
Having to check out!
Nice vibe-this is no "chain hotel". Old world grandeur was mixed nicely with all mod conveniences. The hotel has plenty of style. The location is great too.
The staff, view and ambiance were all excellent
The food also the reading room was beautiful. Theleisure facilities were excellent. It was a lovely stay. I would recommend the Connemara Coast
Luxury with a bit of worldliness. Room was excellent and bed very comfortable. Long meandering way to the room with bags but worth it. Staff at desk very helpful and friendly. Leisure centre nice. Didn't get to use hot tub but great idea.
Staff serving bar food were stressed.I asked for wine list 3 times before I gave up and settled for a glass of wine. It was a bank holiday in fairness but turns out wine lists are kept in the main restaurant - they were struggling to get one. If they had told me it would have been better. Small point.
The hotel and surroundings are good. The bedroom was very comfortable and clean.
The dinner in the restaurant was poor and very bad value. I have had similar experience in the past.unless the food improved I would dine elsewhere. The breakfast was OK.
Good hot breakfast and choice.
No WiFi in room but lobby!
The bed was so comfortable! So close to the sea, I opened the windows and could hear the waves- beautiful!
No air con in my room, but other had.
Location and 5* views are excellent
I had very yellowed phone & socket in the bathroom and the fan didn't appear to be operating
The location; food
I found it being a little outdated. The room was cold.
feeling warmest welcome, very nice hotel stuff, perfect rooms, great location
Utterly professional staff. Unfussy attention to all detail. Courteous & welcoming. Homely atmosphere
Food in bar wasn't great- fish was greasy and chips were undercooked
To be near the sea, weather wise it was stormy and it was lovely to be able to hear the roar of the sea
Splendid isolation but only 15 mins.drive to Galway city
My favourite hotel had a room overlooking the sea, it was everything I could wish for
rooms were comfortable
Bar food over priced for what you get. Drink prices way too high....Given that its in a Gaeltacht area I did'nt hear a word of irish in the place and none of the staff were local....
Looks in need of redecoration
