We felt our hosts were polite but... reserved, and not as friendly as other Irish B&B owners we had met. In a remote location, so a little hard to find the B&B in the dark, and a car would be required. Decor is dated, the shower room was very small with a very noisy fan.
Marie kindly waited up for our late arrival (11.00pm) and had another group arriving even later than us. The B&B is in a peaceful location. Our room was on the ground floor (as requested) with a distant view of the lake, the mountains, and the grazing sheep. The house is very quaint with an interesting clutter of antiques and family mementos, the decor dated but clean, rather like a trip to grandmother's house. Our room was comfortable. The tap water is not drinkable, but drinking water is provided in the main hall. Breakfast was good, with decent coffee, and parking is available.
