It is a basic room.. But it was clean ,quiet and had everything u need. No complaints.. I had read the reviews and knew to bring a mirror and a radio. The kitchen is a bonus.. Do bring provisions and make use of the kitchen. It has everything u need, The bus service is good but does end at 8pm and its a little far to walk in heels.Overall, happy with the accommodation. If u dont make the bus the taxi at 9 euro is a little expensive, add 20 euro on 2 a nite out for the taxi in and out of town when u are budgeting.

I can't answer that. However, though you have a different section for complaints, I won't be using that, but I'll say it here: I requested 4 single en-suites for 4 people and I got separate rooms(single/double,this was ok) but only 2 bathrooms, which meant 2 people had to share the bathroom. I don't think it was fair.(We paid for 4 bathrooms.) Neither do I think that the explanation for this was fair: 'We wanted you to stay together'...Yes, we wanted to stay together but I should have been told this wasn't possible given the conditions. Anyway we did NOT stay together as 2 rooms were in block J and two in block I... I think you should address that, thank you!

The manager saved the day, she is obviously kept on her toes keeping the staff in check. The staff were pretty useless. Young, inexperienced? I'm unsure, however we were given an incorrect internet password which wasted many hours of calls to office & trying to unneccesarily change comp settings. Had to wait 3 hours for a working room light bulb which basically ruined our sightseeing due to both delay's.We were given no information on what was available to us & only discovered on the night prior to leaving that there was a communal kitchen. All in all one of both of our worst experiences in our travels.

Lovely riverside walk adj to building. Was basic no problem with that, but should have working lights at least!!!!! got back at around 22.45 light over bed not working no bulb {only other light a small lamp at other side of room. We contacted receptiont they sent a guy out to check he replaced bulb but light would not work.he told us we would have to wait until 8am next morning for maintenance to repair it [we were leaving next morning so no help to us!!! We were left with the small lamp on a deskfor two avid readers disaster and 1 chair in a room rented to 2 people.!!!!!! Dont think we got value for money there was plenty of empty around us we were not offered to move.Mentioned it on checkout all apoligies but empty words to us.Would need to get their act together if renting to general public. So dissappointed.

Budget style. More suited to families or backpackers There were no drinking glasses in the apartment. Space a bit tight in bedroom, but you get what you pay for.

The staff were friendly and the double room was comfortable. The facilities provided in the kitchen was exceptional. The hotel was also close to town, had lots of parking facility and a big area to enjoy. the only request is to make the check out at 11 a.m instead of 10. Otherwise it is an excellent accommodation. The bathroom can come under severe pressure when all the rooms are occupied in the block.

It was good to have kitchen facilities available and also there was other facilities you could use. Eg tennis court. The room was secure, and it wasn't too far to get into town. When we tried to get the shuttle bus it was full, and they only run each hour. It is walking distance into town, but we weren't told that. But we ended up driving in as on Sundays there is free parking. The bathrooms were dirty. I know they are shared, so won't necessarily be clean when you arrive, but they were pretty bad.

Well located, with clean basic rooms. Repeated problems with room keys was very inconvenient and parking was a bit of a problem.

Although we were to share a bathroom, we were the only ones on the floor. Entering the room was a shock. I went to college and expected the dorm to be small, but what I didn't expect was how grey everything was and it smelled like hamsters, wet and damp and musty. There was mold in the shower and the laminate in the bathroom was wet. Overall, for the price not a good bet. Book early in Galway to find something better.

corrib village is situated on the university campus site of the town - which means you're definetly not near the city centre; you have to walk about 20 minutes or take the shuttle bus to get there. however, it's a lovely site if you like to go running or to walk in a park-like scenery. the staff was very friendly and helpfull and they are pretty good organized - probably because they are used to deal with a great number of people arriving and leaving every day during summer. If you don't mind staying on a campus site with many (!) other people, this is a good and affordable choice. you enter the block (house) and room you're staying in with a key-card. that might be very safe - but it is a bit awkward. you have to take the card with you whenever you leave your room for the kitchen, the bathroom or whatever. As I do like running in the morning, I deposited the key-card with the staff for that time.

Ability to check in at a late hour and 24 hour desk service. Very noisy clients who shared our section of rooms coming in late at night and the noise of people walking by on their way to their rooms yelling, dropping fast food garbage, booze bottles etc. at 3 am.

Helpful staff. Reasonably priced breakfast. Nice walk into town. Courtesy bus into town always appeared to be full. Even though not all apartments full, they locate guests next door to each other and the walls are very thin so you can hear noise from next door.
