Very comfortable. Excellent service. A couple of minor issues were dealt with quickly and in a most friendly manner. Free safe parking in underground park easily accessed by lift. We also received a voucher to return for a similar break at a reduced price during the next year.We will certainly return.

We did not enjoy our stay at the Pillo Hotel. It was noisy and we did not get any sleep. Children were running up and down the corridor all night and banging on our hotel door. Breakfast was a disaster. We had planned on staying for two nights but checked out after one night. We were told at Reception that we would have to pay for two nights. We were not even asked why we wanted to leave. When we explained the reason we were checking out we were told that we were not the onky guests who had complained. We still had to pay for this experience. Overall our stay was a disaster. Regards, Mary and Jim Morrin

Our room at the Pillo Hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The service in the restaurant was exceptional. We had trouble getting to the hotel. Our GPS didn't recognize the address "Headford Point" and the locals we asked didn't recognize it either. A street number on Headford Street would have made it easier to find.

Hotel rooms are modern, clean and have everything you need. Buffet breakfast was good, and you could order poached eggs, etc. if you wanted. Parking was free. I had small children and granny with us so the walk into the city was not manageable, however taxis always seemed to be available outside the hotel.

It was easy to locate. The staff were really nice and helpful. Breakfast was beautiful and I really loved the insulated tea pot! first time my tea was nice and hot in a hotel, great idea. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The room we stayed in was extremley cold and when we complained to the staff we were given a small blow heater. They offered to move us the next day but not straight away. As we were only staying 3 nights we didn't want the hassel of moving after. I would have expected a hotel of this standard to at least be warm.

Rooms very comfortable and a little bit larger than budget hotels. Nice big bathroom. and comfortable bed. Free WiFi was nice to have. Conversation went on all night in the adjoining room. I managed to sleep as I was tired, but my companion was woken on a number of occasions during the night. I was there midweek when it was fairly quiet. I'd say it could be noisier at weekends with people there with kids and younger people there on the razz.

Good Location for city centre exploration and shopping The food was only mediocre and my fiinal night I was only too aware of how your neighbours can disturb your stay ,. infact I had to call the manager as \I thought someone was going to come through the wall .and was nervous that someone was being hurt . Turned out to be a bad drunk but no harm doen to anyone thank god

The price was a bit high, given its location. The hotel is well away from the city center, so unless you have a car, it's not terribly convenient.

Room was modern and clean, beds were comfortable, shower was good, bar food was tasty and reasonably good value. Location was good, an easy walk from Galway town centre. Free parking in large car park. Breakfast buffet was quite limited for a 4 star hotel - only one choice of egg (scrambled), no beans, only one type of milk for cereal (no choice of skimmed, soya milk etc), no decaff tea available at breakfast. V loud generator could be heard not far from our room from 7am till midnight both days we were there.

Spacious room and huge comfy bed. Quiet room. Having a spa in the hotel was great. Wifi worked in my room which was close to the stairwell. Not a very interesting location and a bit of a trek to and from town each day and evening - takes a good 25 mins. Taxi was about 10 euro so that was ok option some times.

The front desk staff were friendly, it was clean. The rooms were very dated and the aircon was very loud. The view of the road and a housing estate isn't attractive. The location is not great, it's a short drive or taxi trip but if I had understood the location better, probably would have stayed more centrally. It's tricky to find and the traffic in the area can be very busy.

The staff were all extremely polite, friendly and very helpful, in other words they were professional. The room was large, quiet and comfortable and it had black-out curtains which was a plus. The food, whilst nothing spectacular, was still good (square-meal standard) and reasonably priced. The location is good too, being not far from the City Centre, yet on a busy route so it was very easy to grab a taxi (they were waiting out front). The price. It was €119 for one night's Bed & Breakfast. This may be "reasonable" if not cheap by Galway standards, but it is still a lot of money and it is hard to justify it. If it was somewhat cheaper, we may have stayed more nights, in which case we would have eaten more often in the restaurant etc, and overall we would no doubt have spent more money there.

Went with a group of 6 for a stag. Staff were very helpful and friendly even after last call in the Residence bar that night. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was worth it - full buffet, very good service by staff. Free parking available, internet in the room. No complaints would use again without hesitation. 15minute walk to town but in a handy location if arriving from Dublin or Castlebar directions. We had no complaints. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
