Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We had a group of 12 Teenagers with us and we were met with such a great welcome, when in the past we'd have been met with suspicion. A couple of members commented the bar manager could have been friendlier, but this was all I had heard. |

Very conveniently located, close to all routes in and around the midlands. Relaxed atmosphere and very helpful staff. I would prefer to give my laser-card number instead of Visa when booking on internet. The option was not on the website. |

I had a comfortable room with tea/coffee facilities. Also, having some shops nearby was handy. For me, the main drawback, and perhaps the only one, was the location, as I thought it would be nearer to the town. |

I was quite satisfied with the size of the room and the facilities. I felt I got good value for money. I specifically ordered a non smoking room as I am allergic to smoke. The sign on the door said No Smoking however when I opened the door the room reeked of stale smoke. I had a headache for the duration of my stay due to the smoke residue in the room. |

Close to where we had to be shops within walking distance. Food was good and the staff was very polite. There was nothing I did not like about this hotel, but it would be great if it had a swimming pool. |

The breakfast was o.k. and that is about the most positive thing i can say about the hotel I did not like that stale water smell in the room I did not like the smell of the bleach which had been used to try and clean a stain on the carpet. I did not like the mould which was in the small milk container in the room. I did not like that there was no shower gell left in the container on the first morning there or the fact that they did not supply shower caps. I made all of these facts known to management. |

Good location, if you are just passing through, with free parking, but it could do with a complete make-over, as it's very dated. They do not serve breakfast before 7.30, so it's useless if you want an early start, and there is nowhere in your room to work...the small desk has a big old TV on it, completely in the way, which is madness |

The room was simple but clean and fit for purpose When I arrived back at 2.30 am I had to call a number to be left into the hotel. Luckily I did have a phone with me. |

Excellent breakfast. Within easy reach of shopping centres. Convenient parking for guests. Pleasant staff, particularly at reception. Missed evening meal in bar area. Thought breakfast room was the only dining area despite being told that a buffet style meal would be served. Our own fault for not exploring hotel a little more!!! On the other hand a sign showing way to Bar/other Dining area would not go amiss. |
