Staff were exceptional.
Bed was clean, shower was hot breakfast was okay.
Torn sheets, wet carpet in the first room we got second room was better, worn out and no WiFi. Constant traffic noise from adjacent fuel station.
Convenience to all major routes...everything you need on your doorstep...great nights sleep...reception staff first class...bar food excellent...
Wifi did not work in our rooms...bar staff not very freindly...
Myself and my sister and our families stayed for three nights. Our stay was very enjoyable. The food was lovely and good value also. Staff were great. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks to all Mairead
Everything except the wifi
WiFi dropped out every half hour or so but the staff rebooted the router any time I asked about it. Not the worst WiFi experience though!
the best reception I got on my arrival!the young man was so professionally pleasant.
I cant complain honestly
Bed were very small, no sleep
The staff of the hotel were friendly and helpful. Arrangement of furniture very nice for a family room and very spacious.
One bed smelled strongly of perfume and had not been cleaned. It needs a bit of upkeep as there was peeling paint and mold in the bathroom.
Clean, good food, good staff
Hard bed and uncomfortable pillows
Very friendly and helpful staff
lack of facilities such swimming pool
Ease of booking efficient & friendly staff good range for breakfast easy parking great location
smell of smoke in my no smoking room Rashers over cooked
We had a little issue with our room, but receptionist Sinaed, a pure gem to her employers, solved it quickly and efficiently. She was perfect, friendly, with a big smile all the time. She also recommeded how we would drive into (by road works blocked up) Athlone, to reach a great Italian restaurant. She was right al the way. Our little rescue-dog Daisy was welcomed especially well. The room was a bit tired, but very adequate to us. Good value for money. Would certainly come again.
Parking excellent and food better than most.
Excellent value for money. Staff are very friendly and helpful They allow dogs.
Nothing in particular
Smell of smoke in room was terrible. Looked for a change new room was lovely and fresh. Room service sent up wrong food and tried to tell us a burger and steak sandwich was the same thing. No change offered. Wasn't great didn't eat it.
the front of house staff friendly and efficent
small room stained carpet not just one stain it needed to have a good clean dust at edge of furniture i would not go there again
The location, just off the highway, was the best feature.
Every time someone turned on a tap or "pressed the button" the pipes in our ceiling 'hammered". To be fair, we did point this out when leaving and they did offer to reduce the tariff.
Room was disappointing; reason one of my children had to sleep on a mattress that was place on the flour. Also room was to small for a family of four.
Quiet room with a view of some fields and a good nights sleep
A bit noisey
I am part of a new architectural design consultancy that travels the country most weeks. When my colleague arrived to help me prepare and translate a presentation for a non-Irish company we are hoping to gain as a new customer she was stopped at reception and told she could not go to my room longer than 5 minutes! I came down & spoke with person on reception and was told it was because of fire regulations. My colleague was highly embarrassed as she was made feel like an escort. I've stayed in hotels around the country numerous times, in single rooms and never had this Victorian era style of inquisition either directed to myself or my colleagues who all came and went without inquistion. I shall NOT be staying at this hotel in future and neither will my company colleagues. Appalling.
It was very convenient and good value for money.
There was a mix up about room allocation between front desk and cleaning staff. Eventually after being directed to a third room, I finally got settled.
I stayed at this hotel with my 7 year old child. It was filthy from the front door in and very off putting. I brought it to the attention of a member of staff and had hoped for a call from management.
No clean tables no clean trays staff uninterested
Very Pleasant staff, bar and bedroom very clean and tidy
During the holidays, young children running up and down corridors
