Liked the location and general feeling of welcome
No heat in Bar area had to get a jacket as very cold...another guest turned on the rads ....furtively !
The stay was very comfortable, great views from the rooms, great breakfast.
a bit far out from the city.
The Lodge and the setting are in a class of their own - something you would see in a dream. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They just knew what to do to make your stay the best it could be. The room was very tastefully decorated and had a very large well equipped bathroom. The dining was excellent - the food well prepared and well presented by highly trained and efficient staff. The grounds had very interesting and beautiful hiking trails. You have to see for yourself - mere words cannot explain.
The service in the hotel was excellent and love the location , R and R all round
Spa was closed on Monday
Fantastic stay at Cromleach lodge. We were looked after really well. We had an evening function which went off without a hitch. Food really is delicious. Would highly recommend.

The staff were lovely .Reception staff a lovely pleasant girl .
Did not like that the room was advertised as having a balcony .When we got there we were disappointed, We were told that all the rooms were booked.
Food was a bit expensive and not good enough for the price
Good standard of bedrooms Quality toiletries Relaxed, peaceful atmosphere Friendly staff Good quality food - affordable
Wasn't aware of the hilly location and had difficult finding bedroom initially
Food in restaurant was amazing will definitely return. Would recommend early bird menu well worth 30 euro each
View, food, place, people and of course the breakfast
We stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding and had a lovely stay! We had dinner in the restaurant the first night and it was delicious! The views from the hotel are outstanding!
Good distance out of Sligo town!
Our room was dated and not very modern, however it was clean and spacious. the windows were covered in bird droppings which took away from the beautiful view
Beautiful views from hotel. Excellent bedroom with large en-suite and balcony.
No access from rear car park to rooms at the rear of the hotel. Piped music in dining room playing same song over and over again. This was remedied when staff informed.
Excellent food, beautifully cooked and presented
staff excellent views magnificent beds great & comfortable and the food best we ever had in a hotel and we travel a lot.
A bit hard to get around locally with my stick and limp so more car than we liked.
Peace and tranquility of setting. Magical walks. Exceptional cuisine served by very professional and personable staff. Best Spa ever!
Price of Whiskeys!
first impressions driving up to this hotel are 'wow'.The hotel is in a quiet and secluded area with beautiful views just what we were looking for to get away from it all. The staff couldnt be nicer and so helpful. I loved that we could bring our little dog with us and she was able to stay in our room. Dinner was delicious...excellant in fact! we loved our stay...we just wish it could have been longer
The decor in our room was a bit dated but that didnt affect our stay...loved it!
We loved everything - the location, the facility, the room, the views, the breakfast, the staff.
About 5 days before our stay, Booking.com emailed us and said the lodge had cancelled our reservation because they over-booked. We did not get a chance to check our email before we arrived as scheduled. Fortunately, the lodge was able to accommodate us in a room that satisfied our reservation. We are grateful and enjoyed the stay...but our advice is to have a plan B when reserving a room here.
Massage not great.
We stayed for four days, mid-week on a very reasonable deal. Throughout, we were impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of the staff and the welcome we received from Moira. Breakfast was included in the price and was excellent. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was also excellent and very good value.
Everything was fine
The hotel is gorgeous. Its very homely. The views are amazing. Staff are friendly and the greeting at breakfast is very nice. Its lovely to see the pictures by the reception of how its been built up bit by bit. The breakfast is big and delicious. You will not leave here hungry. The homemade brown bread is the best I've ever tasted.
Although I had requested a cot in a quiet room away from the bar/noise for our baby, we were put away up a few steps and down another long stairs. Even access through a back door ment we still had to carry everything down a long stairs. Anybody traveling with a baby/young children carry alot of luggage. Also we had no way of bringing the pram into the room only to drag it up and down stairs. There was very little natural light coming into the room. Outside the back door of the room was a wall almost up against us and left over building material/rubble just around the corner. I thought if we had been given a room with a little more of a view then just a wall, as the hotel was not very busy/full, I would have liked to stay here again.
The location. The friendly and helpful nature of all the staff. The menu list and the quality and selection of the food presented.
Cannot think of anything!!!
Everything! The welcome was second to none. So impressed with the professionalism of the staff, the superb food, the ambience. Cannot praise our experience highly enough. We'll be back. Fantastic.
NOTHING!! Teeny weeney gripe though. Thought the windows could have done with a good cleaning. Sorry i'm nitpicking.
