Crowne Plaza Dundalk  

Despite its large size we were not disturbed at all by noise from other guests which is a welcome change

We booked a sea view but that was stretching it somewhat as you could see the sea but a long what away.

Needed to have someplace local for a visit to relatives who live in and around Dundalk. Very easy access for everyone. Good secure parking area. Good rooms.

Unable to book the Roof Top restaurant 3 days in advance due to Confirmation celebrations. Had food from menu served to us in the bar area, the quality of it we all found very poor Reception area very cold and uncomfortable to sit and read the papers whilst waiting for our guests. Breakfast lukewarm and gave up trying to get Tea/coffee, waiters not at all attentive.

Service and facilities

Avoid front of hotel rooms where the smokers hang out as it's too noisy

Very convenient for visiting family living in Dundalk

Shower head not easy for lady to wash hair

Friendly staff. Excellent service. Excellent food - carvery was very reasonably price and was delicious.

Love this hotel. Have stayed here 4 or 5 occasions. Very friendly and helpful staff, Spacious rooms with big comfy bed & nice views out to sea. Have recommended cp Dundalk to plenty friends already and will continue to.

very comfy, room was lovely,. room was serviced not too early which was great, means there was no one knocking at 9am. lovely clean and modern, nice personal touch with our name on the phones in the room and we were offered a paper to the room on the sunday morning and a wakeup call on any of the days... i was here last year on training days with work. it was the most reasonable priced and is in a good location at this time of year. this is also where my fiance proposed to me lol so very fond of the crown plaza. def would stay here again anytime... and i will be any time i visit dundalk...

food was a bit overpriced for breakfast but i knew dundalk well so i could go elsewhere for breakfast that is the only thing i didnt like

The size of the room was perfect and the fact it has two double beds for a twin room was a bonus. We didn't arrive in until 3-00am in the morning and was still able to receive sandwiches. Brilliant service and will be back!

Very modern hotel and staff were accommodating.

The breakfast was ridiculously expensive so we went elsewhere.

Hard to tell it s almost impossible to find imperfection ! maybe the windows difficult to access behind the curtains

I am an extremely regular business traveller. As is normal with Crowne Plaza, you cannot really fault the rooms. In this case all absolutely excellent !

I stayed mid-week and the top floor Restaurant was closed. Guests were "really crammed" into the small bar area for meals. The BarMan was really excellent, however, and it must be said, the two other members of staff working the Bar-'Restaurant' area were diabolically unfriendly. "I waited 20 mins !!" for just a Bar-Menu card. I was asked immediately to order, I replied 'please give me 2 mins to look at a choice.' After which said person dissappeared and I waited again another "20 mins in hope of service....". No chance, could'nt even order a drink !!! So I gave up in complete disgust and drove 3 mins into town to eat a "very good Chinese". (When you hit the town centre one way system, left hand side at 10'Oclock if that makes sense. Blue lighting at front). Duty Manager take note !
