Currarevagh House  

we loved the friendly and very helpful staff, the old school feeling of this fishing guest house! The rooms are charming and the food excellent! We can only recommend it!

Bathroom a bit small but that is only is you are being difficult :-)

I loved the feel of the place. It was very personal as distinct from an impersonal; large hotel. It was like being invited to a friends house which was , by the way,a manor. I will definitely go back .

Staying here was an experience in itself and we very much enjoyed it. This is not a hotel. It is much better than that. The owners were attentive and engaging. The house and surroundings were beautiful. Dinners were excellent.

Perfect location on the shore of Lough Corrib, and excellent traditional rowing boats available for guests.

Although excellent quality, dinner is a set meal. We were advised that an alternative would be prepared if it did not appeal.

The people were not only very accommodating, they were very warm and went out of their way to do ANYTHING to make your stay there exceptional! The house and grounds were fantastic and we had the best food there of anywhere we ate in Ireland. I would definately recommend it to anyone.

The staff were extraordinary. Responsive but not unctuous. Friendly but not fawning. Most enjoyable.

While some might prefer a lodge with newer, fresher trappings, Currarevagh House gave us the unique experience of an old, country house with its aura of days gone by. The hosts were attentive to our every need and the meals were outstanding. While we were not there for the fishing, as were most of the guests, we felt welcome and the other guests were quickly a source of friendship and education. From the somewhat remote location, we had easy access to Connemara, Kylemore Abbey and Ashford Castle. I would definitely return there... for the ambiance of evening coffee before a peat fire, if nothing else.

マダムをはじめ、息子さんご夫妻が温かく迎えてくれました。 また、シーズン終わの週末ということで落ち着いた雰囲気だったのですが、アフタヌーンティやディナー後のゲ- スト同士の交わりも近すぎず遠すぎずで、一人旅の手持無沙汰もやわらげてくださいました。 お料理は息子さんご夫妻が作っているそうで、素材の良さもあるのでしょうけれど大変美味しかったです。 田舎が好きで食事を楽しみたい方には、機会があればぜひ訪ねていただきたいと思います。

古い建物のため、近代的な設備やサービスを期待するのは目的違いと思います。

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel mit familiärer Atmosphäre. Genau das richtige, wenn man seine Ruhe möchte oder im Corrib angeln. Das Essen ist sehr gut und die Zimmer sind groß.

Le charme de l endroit magnifique propriété au bord du lac hôtes très attentionnés ,une ambiance d'autrefois ,mais on se sent très bien autour d'une cheminée ou brule la tourbe avec du thé ou du café avec des gateaux maison qui vous attendent l apres midi ,petits dejeuners copieux et repas exellent dans du tres beaux mobilier.un endroit a ne pas manque si vous passer par là.royaume pour les pêcheurs et pour les autres

Todo. Maravillosa casa victoriana ubicada en zona de bosque para pasear y un lago enfrente de la casa increiblemente bonito. La amabilidad y profesionalidad del personal que lo atiende. La casa está decorada con mucho gusto y a la vez muy confortable. La cena que tomamos fué exquisita. Estancia inolvidable, es de esos alojamientos que recomiendas sabiendo que es un éxito seguro!!

女主人がいかにもマダムという感じで、英語もゆっくり話してくれて、大変親切。 料理は素晴らしい。ここに泊まったら、夕食は必ずここで食べるべき。 朝食はビュッフェでしたが、ソーセージ、プディングとも大変美味しかったです。 ホテルの雰囲気を含め、ゴールウェイ近郊で泊まる日程なら、是非お勧めします。

The family that runs Currarevagh could not be more helpful, accommodating, friendly. The house is fabulous, the grounds are wonderful for walking and just getting away from it all!

Staying at the Currarevagh House is an escape from the hustle and bustle of modern day life, it has a relaxing atmosphere which starts from the moment you drive up it's long drive and continues when you enter the house. It's a small hotel so it makes you feel as though you are staying with friends. The owner and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and the food was delicious.
