Friendly, helpful staff at reception. Clean, spacious room, which was cleaned daily with towels changed. Surprised to find pillowcases changed too and one change of sheets although a short stay. Excellent, non- allergic toiletries provided. Tea/coffee making facilities suppliedQuiet, which is what I requested. Our son recommended this hotel, although I was hesitant at first as I thought it might be too far from centre. We enjoyed a stroll to the centre, which took about 40 - 45 mins. However, buses passed by regularly and on the one occasion we caught it it was only 1,65 euros. We will definitely stay again. Charge for internet

Food was really good and the breakfast was really excellent. It was probably the smallest buffet I've seen in a hotel in Ireland, however it was the best. The area is beautiful and the staff were very friendly. I thought the rooms could have done with more a bit more attention. Our iron had stains on it so it stained my husbands shirt while using it. Also the sink on our bathroom was blocked. In all, the rooms I thought could do with a bit of a renovation.

Location and value for money Senior manager on duty for breakfast tried to charge me full rate for breakfast for my 8 & 10 year old. He questioned who had told me they would charge me children's rate. He was not hospitable. It soured my experience. Just because you are a 3 star and offer value for money for families like mine it should not mean we should expect a poor level of customer service.

Our room,it was a suite, very spacious, comfy and light. Cleaned everyday. Safe and relaxing. The heating was extremely high. Thus a very hot room, that was not adjustable. Making it v uncomfortable! Tried opening windows, but were on 8 th floor, so the wind was too strong!

location My room was old fashioned and not enticing and there was an extremely strong smell of paint coming from the rooms above!! i had booked in to study for an exam that i had the following morning unfortunatley i found it impossible as my room was opposite the very busy elevators and also the hotels heating system was extremely loud. The next morning i got up early to try and get a bit of study done however i had to check out and go to the college at 9 am as they had workmen in the room above mine hammering loudly etc so not suitable at all.

It took 3 attempts to get a room which was habitable. Mattresses were very badly stained and threadbare, holes in sheets and window nets. Stained carpets, scuffed furniture, missing lightshade in bathroom. Bathroom tiles, grout falling out. Poor service in restsurant and dubliner bar.

Location was very handy Each morning was woken up really early by the housecleaning staff. Trolley was parked outside room door all morning & the chatting and noise meant very little sleep from very early on. A hotel is where people go to have a break & restful sleep is part of that. Also Staff never asked if we enjoyed our stay.
