A charming country house hotel with mountain views 5 minutes drive from Killarney town, and situated off the main Cork Road, it’s an ideal base for touring the scenic surroundings.

The hotel offers en suite rooms and live entertainment in the refurbished Rathcullen Lounge, 7 nights a week during peak season and at weekends throughout the rest of the year. You can enjoy traditional Irish music, as well as more contemporary music sessions. Fine dining is served in Cluricaune’s Restaurant. There is also a Sports Bar with Sky TV, pool and darts. The hotel offers disabled access. Outdoor furniture is provided for those who want to admire the gardens and mountain views. There is also a comfortable outdoor smoking area with cable TV and a heater. We can cater for all occasions in the large function hall, a popular venue for wedding receptions. Conference facilities and meeting rooms are available.

A selection of fine wines is on offer to complete the fine dining experience. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and is open for breakfast and dinner daily, with vegetarian and children's options available.

These are superb rooms, many of which offer mountain views. All rooms also feature complimentary toiletries and room service. Ironing equipment is available on request. External laundry and baby-sitting services are also on offer. Darby O’Gill’s is a wheelchair-friendly hotel and all rooms, including family suites, are accessible by lift.

Pleasant staff, entertainment, breakfast, clean room, very comfortable bed.

Restaurant food not so good - was expecting traditional home cooked Irish Fayre - got something nearer to deep fried frozen stuff! Breakfast made up for it though!!
