Very friendly and courteous staff. Yes, we were allocated room 213 which is next to a room housing some hotel electric power unit.Very noisy "hum" which only stopped between 3.A.M. and 7 ,a,m,!! When reported to Staff we were immediately allocated another room and presented with a complimentary drink at the bar. |

Convenience of location and thats about it. Everything. Smelly room, no room service, loud techno music blaring outside my room all night, cars revving, shouting, no internet facilities, filthy dirty kettle, greasy breakfast, dirty carpets I could go on. All I required was a good night's sleep and internet and most certainly did not get that. Very very very distgruntled customer!! |

I thought this hotel was good value for money, the staff were friendly and helpful and it was clean. I would have preferred if the hotel had a nice bar area where we could sit and relax and have a drink.I found the bar that was there to be very small and not somewhere we could sit. It's slightly off putting that it is situated in a retail park but it was not a huge issue for us. It's also about 8euros into town in a taxi - prob within walking distance but not in high heels! |

Not much. Blackout curtains in room were useful and shower was good. Booked 'superior' but was told at check in that all rooms were the same. Therefore I had same room type as my companions, but paid more. Almost constant hum and vibration in the rooms we had and smell of smoke in the bathroom, through vent (no extractor). |

We were woken up by a false alarm which went of at 2 am in the night. On checking at reception, they informed that they would reset the alarm. The alarm was reset after a long time. It went of again. This disturbed our sleep & we could not sleep. The noise from the outside of people walking & shutting doors was also very loud. The hotel is expensive to the facilities provided. |

Good car parking. Rooms well heated. Good breakfasts. Friendly staff. Inadequate storage for clothing for guests staying for a week or more. More drawer space required to supplement the hanging space. We disliked having to live out of our suitcases. Daybreak breakfast package arrangements could be improved. |

instead of a double room they gave us a twin and pushed the beds together. which kept moving apart during the night. hotel is a €10 taxi ride into the city and there is no footpath along the main road so you can't walk into the city. they didn't clean our room and we had to ring reception 3 times to get someone to clean the room. the reception staff were very rude and just ignored us. |

I found it very relaxing the food was excellent the staff were polite and very helpful and it was quite good value. The beds were very comfortabe the room and ensuite were spotless. just a small comment the chair in my bedrooom was in need of an update as it showed a bit of wear and tear which let the room down a bit. |

Friendly staff, well prepared breakfasts (although see comment below). Main meal not taken so unable to comment. Within short drive of the city. Better vegetarian options would improve the hotel's offer. A gate in the surrouding fence would reduce the distance of the walk into the city considerably for those not able to hop over the fence. |

the location, quite close to the city. costs around €8 for a taxi. very busy, my room was next to the lift! very noisey from other guests as well as the lifts. couldn't move rooms as the hotel was full. was concerned with security, got in at 4am and the hotel doors were open with people milling around. off putting for a female alone! |

Clean, nice business hotel. It's quite away from the town centre, past a mayor road, so maybe it's not the best option if you are not driving. |

We picked the hotel because it was supposed to be within walking distance of Kilkenny city. It was a nice hotel but very basic. One member of staff was very unfriendly. |

The room was lovely with a large comfortable bed. It was difficult to find the hotel as it is not signposted from the town and the map I printed off from the hotel website was not very good if you didn'y already know the area. |
