Hotel itself was fantastic value as room was clean and very spacious and breakfast was freshly cooked and very nice. Location was quite good also. Receptionist wasn't very pleasant and the hotel itself lacked atmosphere. There didn't appear to be many other people staying there.

Comfortable, clean accommodation. Very friendly staff. Good meal. Pity the Hotel does not have its own car park. No parking next to the Hotel; it is diffiuclt when you have a number of bags, and other boxes for business purposes that need to go with you.

The location was excellent. Booking was easy and efficient. Reception staff friendly and welcoming. Actually, all staff very friendly. The room was nice and big, and the beds very comfortable. It was good having the car park so close to the hotel.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. The location was ideal, just across from the Lidl supermarket and walking distance to the main street.

Good value I booked a twin room with an extra bed online, when we arrived the room had a double bed and a single as we had requested a twin we expected 3 single beds, when I asked I was told there was no twin rooms! This sounds strange as I had booked a twin room on line, we were given a second room free of charge as none of us wanted to have to share a bed but it also ment one of us had to sleep in the room alone

It is handy for our stay, rooms are perfect, staff that we had contact with were fine i would recommend the hotel but only for certain types of breaks,ie.attending weddings or shopping etc Breakfast was very dis organised and lacking of staff was evident.ive worked in this line of industry for many years and while it is a lovely hotel, it lacks correct management regarding breakfast time, having guests clear their own tables is not a great look, we didnt mind as we are easy going but I can see other guests would and werent happy.staff were friendly but could see they hoped they would not recieve an ear full from a guest. Also I would add shower and hair gel to the bathrooms, something I did notice lackin and overheard someone talk about it in the breakfast room

Convenient location and friendly service. The room was quite cold - just like last time. Unable to turn the heating up - even though we altered the temperature switch to maximum. No longer provides free parking - which is a shame as they did the last few years we stayed there. They need to update their information about parking.

We were walking The Grand Canal Way and the hotel suited our purposes well. Very pleasant and helpful staff. This is not a complaint. On 3 of the evenings we ate in the hotel and enjoyed really good food in pleasant circumstances.Over the weekend the hotel dining room was fully booked with parties and though we were assured a table could be set for us we would have felt uncomfortable and so used a local restaurant in Tullamore. We are genuinely happy that the hotel catered so successfully for parties;we recognise the importance of providing viable sources of income all the year round.

I stayed in the hotel for 6 days and couldnt fault anything about it. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It is such good value for the service and quality of the room. I have stayed here before many times and would return again any time I get the chance in the future. The staff were so helpful, I needed a razor to shave my legs one evening and the girl in reception was really busy but sent it up in the lift for me. Ciaran the manager was most helpful and professional. I cant praise this hotel enough and especially the quality of the cotton in the bed clothes, so soft and fresh. It was a find and I would love to come back whenever I can. eimear, dublin.
