It was very close to o Donnell St & Parnell St
Didn't like not having a kettle in the room you had to ask at reception if you wanted tea as I am a bad sleeper I like a kettle in the room to make tea for my self in the middle of the night
Personal /service (family) Friendly very very clean secure front entrance Too warm if anything Great Hotel for stranger to Dublin they owners are native
Missing tea making facilites
Staff were all very welcoming and helpfull. , I'll definitely be staying again
Nothing at all , everything was perfect
Staff friendly and helpful, good location, quiet area. Good choice for b/fast.
Could have had tea and coffee facilities in the room
Don't judge by first impressions. The hotel doesn't look over appealing from the outside, however, when you enter it couldn't be any more different. Breakfast is substantial and our room (we stayed in what looked like newly converted rooms on the top floor) was very clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely, particularly the gentleman who worked on an evening. (we assumed he was the owner) I would highly recommend a stay here.
Event with late check in a warm welcome and nice room and food
Nearly not internet on ze room
The wifi only work in the common area.
nice place near to 5 min walk from city center and food place is also very close
rainy weather in ireland
Greeted at booking in and greeted again when I returned at midnight.
No bad experience. I would have liked Wifi. I didn't ask about it so it may have been there and it was a very minor issue for me.
Nice ,clean hotel. Friendly staff Beds very comfortable. In a quiet area Lovely breakfast
bed gave me continental breakfast early in morning. was no problem getting tea in the evening so near hospitals great location and near centre shops too.
wii fii couldnt get it. no details
Excellent location close to O'Connell St. Room was spotless. Staff were friendly and helpful.
I was in the smallest room I have ever stayed in. I could touch both sides of the room at the same time. Didn't bother me much as I was only there to sleep but not for the claustrophobic!
the staff were very helpfull it was clean and tidy and a really nice breakfast
The Dergvale hotel is run by warm, friendly and very hospitable people. My room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and quiet. The breakfast was also very good and the location of the hotel was an easy walk into the centre of Dublin. I would definitely recommend this excellent hotel!
Great location, everything is a 10 min walk away. Awesome homemade Irish breakfast! I hope you are hungry in the mornings cause it's very filling. Very nice staff, happy to help always.
The location is great, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast tasty.
When I booked I asked for a room on the first floor with no stairs. I was given a room on the second floor and had to walk up 4 flights. I received no wifi in the room or lobby. The shower had no hot water whatsoever. I have stayed here over the summer and loved it. This time was a disappointment.
The staff were first rate, friendly, courteous and efficient. The room was cosy and clean. The shower was very good. Breakfast was very good, traditional and filling and nicely served. It was excellent value for money. The hotel is within easy reach of Dublin landmarks and shops.
The area made me a bit uneasy, but having said that I had no bother from anyone and the hotel is very secure. There was no tea making facility in the room, but that is a minor thing.
Very friendly staff and a great breakfast menu. Comfortable and warm (we visited in December). Well located for shopping and city centre, bus station etc.
Timer taps in the bathroom: they don't even give you time to cup your hands to fill them with water. Horrible. The plug in the sink: no option to remove it and always "in". Annoying and frustrating.
Room was sizeable and very clean. Heating wasn't on when I arrived, but it warmed up very shortly afterwards. Reception staff very welcoming, provided tea when I returned very late in the evening (there are no facilities in the rooms, but tea/coffee is available via reception). People have complained about wifi availability in rooms, but the hotel website clearly states that it's only available in public areas. For a budget hotel, I found it very clean and comfortable.
I had to leave before cooked breakfasts were available (at 8am) so had a continental (tea, toast, juice, cereal). Toast was cold, dining room felt damp and cold.
Spotless room, newly decorated. Lowest rate I've found in Dublin Breakfast was rich and varied. Staff and owners were very nice.
Cute rooms Friendly staff Good location Really good value Free breakfast
comfortable bed massive breakfast friendlystaff
location radiators in room too hot! security to get in to the reception area
The staff was so service minded! Just stayed 2 short days but they were really the best thing about the Hotel. ! Also really close to everything and super vaule for that price.
The Dergvale is in an excellent location and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The room, while relatively basic, was plenty big enough, very clean and the bed was extremely comfy. Will stay here again.
I would love to see tea/coffee making facilities added to the room - though when I asked the person on reception very late one night about where to get tea they made us some immediately to take up to the room.
The staff is very helpful and courteous.
The breakfast organisation would be easier if it was a buffet. We missed more fruits.
