Very clean and nice staff, they let us leave our stuff there after checking out.
The breakfast had limited choice.
Helpful and professional staff, room and bed was comfortable.Could get complimentary tea and coffee at reception.Short walk to centre and the Mater hospital.
Traffic noise as windows only single glazed. No tee and coffee making in room needing to go to reception in order to bring tray up to room, but considering excellent value for money this was a minor point. No lift for anyone with mobility problems, but not an issue for me.
Walls are a bit on the thin side
Location was good
Small bath, small tv, small room, noise.
Staff are both friendly and accommodating. The location is great.
It's good value.Staff are friendly.Breakfast had generous portions.
Hotel is basic and needs modernisation.
Breakfast was good even though I don't think that sausage, bacon & eggs can be qualified as being a "full Irish breakfast"?? Staff were lovely & location was good.
I paid 500 euros for 2 people staying 3 nights, which I find extortionate. Unfortunately for me, there was an event on at Croke Park, meaning the prices were inflated everywhere. The rooms are relatively noisy, I could hear the people in the neighbouring room talk to each other. Doors make quite a lot of noise when they open and close so as soon as breakfast starts, you can hear the entire hallway opening, closing & locking their doors. I could also understand everything that people were saying in the hallway. No wifi reception in the bedroom, had to venture out into the reception area.
Comfy, warm rooms, good shower & nice filling breakfast.
Mum wasnt keen on the stairs !
Location for Croke Park was great, within walking distance of park. Rooms are dated but were comfortable and we had a good night sleep. Staff are very friendly and helpful
The staff very friendly. Great location
Very small room .single bed.tiny bathroom , well its a stand up shower.only stayed one nite which was enough.
Olga was very helpful
The floor parquet kept creaking every time someone passed by our door. Our room was on the first floor and the first door so we could hear the creaking stairs first and then creaking parquet of our floor. we could hear other guests talking so both the noise from the guests and the creaking floor didn't make it that easy to sleep. It was a bit far from the Temple Bar area. The bathroom is VERY small, not comfortable at all.
Location and friendliness of staff.Breakfast was also fantastic
With our room at the front of hotel we could hear a lot of traffic noise
Very dated, needs a re-vamp. No irish breakfast as advertised. Just cereal, bacon, egg sausage and toast!! What happened to the rest??
Poor internet(lobby only) not near enough restaurants, pubs
Clean, shower gel provided, breakfast included was excellent, close to O'Connell street. Stored our luggage for us for the afternoon. Staff very genuine and helpful.
Drain of shower backed up, room a little stuffy - when windows opened - noise from the street woke us.
Fantastic stay in Dublin. The staff is very friendly and helpfull with anyything possible - and always ready for a chat. Solid and good breakfast being served - great. Room 10 was light and roomy. Warmest recommendations from here - getting the chance Again, we will go back. Nice little lounge in the back by the way :o)
We were travelling light, so no problem to go to 4th floor via the stairs - can however imagine a tough job if more and heavier suitcases :o)
Good location Nice rooms Friendly Staff Good Value
Walls are thin. Basic hotel.
The dergvale is exactly what it says on the tin, a simple b&b with great value for money, especially on the breakfast. Staff are cheerful and happy to help, was an all round pleasant stay!
The only thing I didn't like was the slightly dated decor of the lounge area and the breakfast room, but our room was bright and modern and had everything we needed. Still didn't put a downer on our stay!
location is excellent. breakfast was good.
this place badly needs to be redecorated it has not changed in years. Also no bathroom facilities were provided plus beds are not fresh
A very basic hotel with adequate facilities, if somewhat tired. Good WiFi in the room. Friendly staff. Walking distance to shopping district.
The breakfasts. We would have preferred yogurt, muesli and fresh fruit to greasy eggs, bacon and white bread. The coffee was atrocious.
friendly hotel, clean, good breakfast
bathroom very small
This was a great hotel. The room was very clean the staff were very friendly. I asked for a cup of tea and the lady brought it up to my room for me in a tray with biscuits. I was travelling with my son and niece and their was wifi in the room which they loved and used. The breakfast was beautiful and i would definelty stay here again there is a lovely warm feeling about this hotel and the staff are so friendly and obliging its just a great hotel very cheap and brilliant for the town centre close to everything just brilliant would give 11 out of 10 and reccommend to anyone
The staff were very friendly and everything was clean and fresh. The location is perfect for all the sights without being in the middle of everything
The decor could do with some updating
