Supperschöne Lage

Entgegen Ihrer Confirmation, sind in den Zimmern keine Internet- Anschlüsse vorhanden,auch kein WiFi !!!!!!! Essen ist viel zu teuer, das Steak für eur 24..-- war sehr hart, obschon ich es "medium" bestellt hatte. Typ kennt sich in Sachen Wein überhaupt nicht aus. Er ervierte anstatt Jahrgang 2007 ohne etwas zu sagen einen Jahrgang 2010. Auf die Frage, wie alt der Wein denn sei, antwortete er: Er habe den probiert, der sei viel besser als der aus dem Jahre 2007, den er aber nicht an Lager hatte ................. ......... also kulinarisch eine echte Enttäuschung, jedoch teuer !

This is an old and familiar friend with wonderful scenery, wonderful beaches and walks, friendly folk.The special deal for Golden Oldies was excellent but would be very popular at a keener price.

I wish the swimming pool was covered.The menu boasted about having the best beef in the world but beef/steak was not given as an option on any night.

The relaxed atmosphere and staff attitude

No wi fi in rooms & menu didn't really change meals were expensive

Location-Location-Location, so lovely to sit in bar area and chill out looking at the crashing waves. Friendly and welcoming staff, there are lovely walks all around.

Hotel could do with abit of a face lift especially the rooms but you know what youre getting from website, and the setting more than makes up for the old fashioned rooms

Good value for money. Friendly flexible staff. Facilities for families such as the pool,, games room, tennis court, washing machine/ drier, freezer for storing fish caught (chef also cooked same at no extra cost). Also gym and spa. Liked the updated 1960's/70's design theme, though building will require lots of maintenance to keep it looking well. Food satisfactory.

Maybe a little more variety on the menus. Exterior of the building requires some work to reduce slip hazards/ step heights etc. and to provide some hand rails a lift should be installed, but without compromising the lovely public areas/ bar/ restaurant/ reception/ lounge and seating. These spaces are very well designed at present, so some thought is required if a new lift is to be installed.

Choices of places to gather as a group to visit. And two choices of meals either restaurant style or bar which was just what we needed.

My room was a bit disappointing. Felt like we were in the dungeon and we were put there because we did not book directly with them and through this booking engine. My parents were upgraded because another cousin there got preference so they got a real nice room with a view while my aunt and I got basement rooms with no view but the back lawn. I had tried to call to ask for a ocean view but was told I would have to wait until I arrived and there was only one room available for that,

A warm welcome with tea and fresh,warm,home-made biscuits.Hadn't noticed request for twin room,but swiftly found one for us.Good food.

The convenience of the hotel on the ring of Kerry and the position when the weather changed although the comfort of the lounge area is not good. The proximity of all the nearest beaches and eating establishments which added to the understanding of the local culture rather than just being in the hotel all the time

Not having a lift is a serious problem As an retired achitect I feel that it is a matter of quite easily being provided so that the elderly can access their bedrooms safely.The lack of organised events either outside or inside is also something that probably is in evidence in the busy season but not at end of June !

We stayed at the holiday homes in the grounds of the hotel & these were comfortable, tidy & generously laid out. They had spectacular views over the seaside & as the hotel itself was closed during the winter months it was very quiet. We especially liked that you were supplied with towels, shampoo etc. & the kitchen was fabulous. It had all the electric appliances (even washing machine & dryer) & the hotel was thoughtful enough to supply dishwasher tablets, tea towels etc. We were also offered late check out which we appreciated a lot.

The beds were very comfortable but there were no duvets but woollen blankets & flat sheets which is something you would only see in warmer countries normally.

het zeezicht,en de goede bereikbaarheid van wat je moet zien.het personeel is overvriendelijk(zoals gewoonlijk)

de kamers zijn van betonblokken,geverfd met latex,het plafond is dezelfde latex rechtstreeks op isolatie-vezelplaat,waarvan ik me op een bepaald moment zelfs even dierf afvragen of het geen asbestplaat was%s voor het ontbijt om acht uur douchen is onmogelijk(eind september?)wegens koud water,na 2200 uur avond idem. zwembad was ook al niet meer verwarmd.eten was eerder grootkeuken,en zeker zijn prijs niet waard.80km verderop hadden we voor minder designeten...

Vue sur la mer

Excellent hotel avec une situation en bord de mer. Vue remarquable de partout, et architecture trés différente et originale.
