We had a slight hick up when we called in advance of arrival, the hotel did not seem to have our booking, they said they would have some one call us , but did not , when i called again we spoke to a lovely lady who assured us of our booking 2 x double rooms and appologised for the misunderstanding. On arrival we were allocated 2 rooms, our friends a beatiful riverview, we proceeded down the and when we opened the door we saw we were nearly knocked down with the smell of smoke and two single beds :) My heart sank we seldom go away and as it was my brothers anniversary i was a little more emotional than normal. I went down to reception to ask if their was some mistake and if they could move us to the requested double room non smoking. Niamh Niamh immediately allocated us a new room which turned out to be the suite, I can't explain how extatic we both were, it totally rectified my negative first impressions of the hotel. They even called ten minutes later to make sure everything was okay. Because of the professional recovery i can now honestly say I would recomend the D hotel. All credit to Niamh the receptionist who under imense pressure on check-ins , dealt so well with the situation at hand. |

The hotel was new clean and central, the staff were excellent and the restaurant good value for money. We stayed in the white room and it was lovely. Will go back again. |

The staff where really lovely and helpful. I loved the design of the hotel and the fact that it was right in the middle of town so close to everything you need. I also loved the room, it was very smart and comfortable. I've already recommended ths hotel and will defnatly come back if i'm ever in ireland. |

The hotel was in the city centre, there was parking facility was complimentary. The staff in the restaurant was very nice. Not all the staff were able to make a good cappucino, too much milk, even if you asked them not to put so much in it. |

The size of the rooms is more than sufficient & location. The TV reception. When I checked in there was only 4 Irish channels available, the next day English channels were availalbe but only until 11.30pm. I complained on the Saturday morning, the matter was rectified for an hour. The TV subsquently went off again, I was told by the reception staff that it was because I had changed channels. |
