Originally built in 1867, this charming townhouse has been tastefully renovated in a modern style, while still retaining its historic charm, with stained glass windows and high coved ceilings.

Dinner at DeLacy's in hotel was excellent and service was outstanding; made for a fun evening for two couples. Order the steak.
Really stylish hotel. Excellent value for a large room with a balcony and expensive river view - you can even see the salmon in the river!
Small criticism - the bathroom door should open the other way and be able to be left open.
I regularly stay in this hotel and always enjoy my visits.
Only has a mini gym located in a bedroom.
most comfortable hotel bed ever balcony door for fresh air was great quiet peaceful hotel and I personally love the sound of herring gulls
shower hard to use Breakfast: fruit was excellent bad layout of breakfast room and needs a supervisor to foresee possible delays, not a relaxing place. hot trays of food being carried and children running around. trays empty and then removed to be refilled so i got last sausage, no scrambled egg and no bread had to ask for plates & wait had to go looking for someone to get tea and coffee for us Food we actually got was of a high standard, the breakfast room just needs to be better organised.
Location, staff, dinner, breakfast
Cost, way to high for standard of the room.
Modern, clean, great staff, good food. Room was spacious and very clean. Great location, close to centre of town and funtasia and Clogherhead beach only 15/20 mins away
Rooms are very hot, for a four star hotel, you would think that they would invest in some air condtioning instead of a blow fan! Uncomfortable to try to sleep in, especially for young children.
every thing was great
Everything, hotel is totally unclean, dirt on walls, soiled duvet, stained carpet, not dusted etc. staff upon arrival cannot even greet you, 4 star please, I think a hostel would have been better!
The hotel was very well situated, and with ample parking space. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice for everyone. I found the staff particularly good catering for all our needs. Altogether a very enjoyable stay,
This was undoubtedly one of the best hotels used on a long trip. The staff were all friendly and efficient at the same time. The restaurant was also good and moderately priced for the quality of the fare.
The fact that Wi-fi facilities were down for part of my stay. This was particularly disappointing because I had just experienced a similar problem at the Mercure Hotel in Inverness. Guests must accept setbacks of this kind when they cannot be avoided, but I did receive the impression that staff do no not necessarily understand the frustration of clients when hotels promote the existence of Wi-fi facilities in their publicity messages.
hotel was very central . breakfast was excellent
Slow check in/out due to not enough staff.
It's hard to find anything to say against staying at this hotel. I'm glad I picked it and would have no hesitation in staying there again
Staff were excellent. Location was fantastic. Parking great. Breakfasts delightfull. Restaurants delicious.
Needed face cloths. Carpet was getting tired, curtain had a rip.
In town with large car park outside the door. Nice breakfasts. Staff knowlegeable about local attractions.
Armchair in room uncomfortable. Menu in Gastropub rather limited. Restaurant only open at weekends. WiFi quite weak in my room but strong in lobby.
Location staff and the bar next door all excellent, I was on business but felt more on holiday!
the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was superb!
the view from the bedroom, and there wasnt a chair in the bedroom
Room service and very attentive staff eg forgot to put breakfast card outside room when I call down at 7am they collected card & still brought ne breakfast!
better lighting in room.
The rooms and bathrooms were very large and comfortable. The front desk was especially gracious and accommodating. Dinner in the bar was very good, compromised only by the shrill caterwauling of the evening's musical entertainment. (See next note.)
The young woman solo guitarist and singer needed a sound check; her voice was amped up like she was trying to fill an auditorium and consequently quashed any attempts at dinner conversation. My second criticism is that the ultra-modern, industrial-style décor is extremely unwelcoming. When the elevator door opened, we thought we were in the parking garage with stark white walls, carpeting that appeared like a concrete floor, etc.
