Location, bar food was nice

Room was tired and uncomfortable. Chair was dirty and ripped, bed uncomfortable, carpets dirty looking and ripped in many public areas

Very helpful staff, great location and large comfortable room.

Poor room lighting, impossible to read in bed.

Nice room. Good Inn type pub/restaurant. Easy access to Town centre

The staff were helpful. Food OK Initially given a pokey back room but after discussion this was changed to a much better room overlooking the river

The restaurant had been closed and so we had to eat in the bar. Food was good and there was live music but a bit noisy for us

The Bed was very comfortable. and the Breakfast was very good.

I did not like being asked for 50 euro in case of breakage. Also my car was locked in the Shopping car park till 12 noon on day of departure .I should have been informed about this on arrival.

We arrived very late due to a flight delay and the reception staff where extremely help and friendly as where the Bar staff

Had no problems with D Hotel. It was everything we needed for a one night stay. Location was Perfect.

We loved the hotel and the pub attached serves great food!

Our room was clean, modern but a bit basic. When looking at our friends rooms our room was missing a main light (making it gloomy), one of the bedside lamps didnt work and every other room seemed to have a lovely lounge chair apart from ours.

i liked the way when we went into the dining area we felt we had left the building and moved into a buzzing athmosphere. the staff were extremily good also,

we were only half way through our meal when the live music started.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is ideal and the price was excellent.

The rooms were a bit dark with few lights.

the friendly staff. at booking in an departure , a blond lady was very helpful an friendly an a pleasure to deal with ., an a foreign gentleman on departure was also friendly an warned of icy road conditions , the rooms where very nice , an spacious .

trouble parking twice , but wasnt such an issue , as im aware its also a public carpark .

The light in the room very poor dry my hair in the dark iron in the dark,waited 50mins for iron to arrive to our room.

Beautifully designed room, wonderful view of the Boyne River and the heart of Drogheda. Friendly staff and a great in house pub.

The sausages at breakfast could be better. Breakfast portion size was almost too big, if that's possible.

I found the staff very friendly and helpful. It was especially good to hve parking validated for the day that I checked out. I got some feed delivered to the bedroom and it was presented beautifully, was hot and tasty.

There was a hospital smell in the lift. Perhaps it had been cleaned with a particular disinfectant. There was also some kind of mark on the sheet in the bed. It didn't seems suspicious but it did speak of a less than thorough check on the room.

Lovely hotel, embarassing location.

Dilapidated surroundings, ugly discarded building site. Pedestrian access to the hotel on foot or by car is not very attractive. Place yourself in the shoes of a Brit/European/Japanese and imagine the impression in approaching the hotel on foot from train or bus station, or even by taxi! Access from Marsh Road is an embarassment. It should not be necessary to use Scotch Hall as a pedestrian route for access..

It was convenient

The Room was tired, net curtain was torn tv didn't work and breakfast was dry it was self service which was fine but the tea n coffee was also self service instead of leaving cups on the table leave them beside the coffee station or have teapots available

Could not use the bar or obtain an evening meal - the hotel was taken over by a wedding fair - the client of the hotel had to go to other locations. The temperature of the rooms was far too hot - over 24 degrees c in the middle of the night - this was abvoiusly a ongoing problem as a fan was already located within the room. Staff were not too friendly

There was not one reading light in our bedroom. It was impossibe to read by articifial light.. Walls would benefit from some pictures - looked somewhat austere. My husband is a coeliac. He was served a gluten free meal on our first evening. There was an unforuntate mishap in that he was given some gluten. This made him ill and since the effects last 36 hours his weekend was spoilt- very annoying as it was his grandson's wedding.

Excellent accommodation, friendly staff and great location

Staff were friendly and efficient. If you like shopping, there is a decent mall next door. Location is good; all local pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance (but access by car can sometimes be busy cos of mall next door). Rooms are modern and well equipped.

Too many small kids flying around all the time even during the evening - pitches itself to the cheapo family holiday (though no pool or facilities for kids) while still trying to attract business types. Bit of an identity crisis. Also our room was over the new Carins Pub attached to the hotel and it was very noisy at night. Prices have crept up a bit over the last year so less value than it used to be.

Great location on the River Boyne, very comfortable bedroom with free wi-fi, good buffet breakfast
