Little things like dirty walls in bedroom and ciggarette buts on the ground in the balcony. A cleaner room would have made all the difference. The staff were great though. Very nice people

location The D Hotel is well situated but the room I was given was shabby with torn curtains which I reported but nothing was done, the lighting in the evening was very poor.

Beautiful hotel, ideal location. So reasonably priced too. Staff were very accommodating. Im raging I missed out on the buffet breakfast, I overheard a few guests in the lift saying it was top class! Think there's some construction going on across the road, but it wasn't too distracting.

The location is superb. Nice 6ft bed.Rooms were quiet, couldnt fault it. We ate in the hotel the first night and a short walk away on shop street is the best italain ever called antica toscana.Also try harpers cafe across the bridge on the corner. We visited newgrange too as it was convenient from the hotel.

Staff were very nice. The breakfast was good. Great location Carpet was grubby. Only 1 pillow each, it's nice to have an extra one to prop your head up to watch tv. No iron in the room

Location and handy for visits to family and friends. The view of the river and railway viaduct was a plus. Drogheda is a lovely town with interesting shops and like everywhere in Ireland the Guiness was good. The staff were all very polite and helpful with nothing too much trouble. We shall return and certainly recommend the D to our friends etc. The signage off the main road could be a little better placed as we missed the turning even though we did know it was by the river. However it was dark and we may have missed them.

The staff were very attentive and were able to use their initiative in anticipating our needs. The hotel met all the standards I would expect of a 4 star hotel.

Arrived at the hotel late and found that the Booking.com reservation (initially made in error then changed) was still for the wrong dates. Hotel staff still found us the correct room quickly and were very accommodating. Room was comfortable, service was excellent, food was good. Location was ideal for quick trip to airport next morning.

The location as central to all shopping. The breakfast was lovely with a great variety. Have stayed there previous to this visit and have highly recommended to family and friends.

I had a number of special requests--quiet room, view of river. The staff allowed for this and much more. The regular woman at the desk was very well informed and very helpful at finding info. Service with a smile!

It was very centrel.the evening dinnerwas supper. And the entertainment on the saturday night was very good. The only bad thing I can say was that the breakfast was not hot enough for me.

“Found the B&B to be most comfortable, with Peter a welcoming and hospitable host.
