This beautiful and historic castle is set within 1,000 acres of woodland. On the banks of the Moy River, it boasts a restaurant made from the remains of a 17th-century Spanish galleon.

The food was excellent and the service really good.
The bath towels were tiny and worn out!! They were like the towels I give to the dogs at home!!!
For me it was a beautiful friendly hotel Lovely setting grounds well maintained. Staff very friendly and excellent food
There was nothing I didn't like about the hotel
The quality & finish of the hotel - attentive staff - great breakfast. Perfect for our needs - Thank you.
Fabulous hotel, huge bedrooms, excellent for families.
Staff excellent ,atmosphere wonderful ,very enjoyable w/end .music was also great.
Not enough towels
The reception staff were excellent and the barfood was great.
Not many facilities and the Wifi was down for our entire stay.
restaurant was 2/3rds empty on Saturday nite but yet was booked out at 7.30 when we wanted a meal and when we were checking in we were told no need to book it .food in bistro was only fair
Bedrooms very warm
The location is the best thing about this hotel...Enniscrone beach is one of the nicest in the country and its great to be able to walk to it from your hotel...
Bar service on our first night - I had cleaning agent sprayed over my wine when I asked for the table to be cleaned! Flies around the juice machine in the morning!
General areas and room was spotlessly clean. Great care is obviously taken. Staff friendly and welcoming Breakfast was delicious and served with a smile.
There was a wedding on the Saturday and the noise level from when we went to bed around 1.30am until 8.00am was high. Our room was above the front entrance. There was also a lot of noise on our floor.
lovely spacious hotel service is excellent and rooms large spotless and beds so comfortable and breakfast is best i have eaten in any hotel in ireland and europe will return for winter break soon
no tea making facilities in bedroom, some music in bar on thusday night would be nice
Proximity to Enniscrone Golf Club
Hotel wasn't half full but we had a room with a handicap bathroom.
Room was spacious and comfortable, had a great nights sleep. Good value...
The architecture is very peculiar, building looks like a prison! Just not, well top notch on the day...
The Hotel is an excellent Hotel. A lovely comfortable hotel. The breakfasts are absolutely brilliant, they even serve little fried potatoes. As we were out and about all day in the car , the breakfasts really filled you up. We stayed here before 2 years ago and couldn't wait to stay there again. The family rooms are massive we had a double bed and two single beds, the middle of the room is empty which leaves pleanty of room for a family of four. I would highly recommend staying in the Diamond Coast Hotel.
There's nothing I didn't like.
Rooms were spacious, staff very friendly and overall atmosphere was holiday like. Breakfast was superb.
3.00pm check-in is much too late with no concierge or baggage storage offered by check-in staff. For a large family hotel, we were amazed there was no leisure facilities or swimming pool available in the hotel. The quality of evening entertainment left a lot to be desired! You need to go see for yourself!
Best steak dinner!! Lovely breakfast, so love my food, great entertainment in the bar .
leaving it!. Bring me back.
Went there for my granny's 90th birthday. Food and staff were very good. Room were a great size and the kiddy club was brilliant
The amount of kids running around at 1145 at night. I'm a mum but there should be a time where kids are not allowed down stairs. I went into the bar at 11 and there were kids running in and out of the doors that would be my only complaint guests want to be able to go for a few drink in peace not seeing other kids running around when your own is in bed
The rooms were modern and spacious. The food in the bar is delicious and at breakfast there was a really good variety! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay!
Everything about the hotel was 2nd to none. Location good for visiting other places in Mayo. Entertainment at night was great, with good food and drink, and pleasant staff behind the bar.
Small downside, the hotel had no swimming pool and gym, especially when weather was poor. If the hotel had these facilities, it would be the icing on the cake. Thank you.
The size of the room and the view from the room over the ocean. The parking lot (gratis)
Just a personal feeling : it's the typical beach family vacation hotel and that was not what we expected coming for B&B. But that was ok.
Everything and in particular the family band that played one night, they were just fantastic. Just longing for an excuse to go back!!!
Absolutely nothing. Everything superb, and I have recommended your hotel to a lot of friends.
We had a great time at the Diamond Coast Hotel. The food was great and the staff were friendly. The hotel was spacious and quite child friendly. There were two weddings in the hotel while we were there but it did not affect us in any way. I'd stay again.
Rooms excellent as was the facilities throughout the hotel
The restaurant let the whole place down. I felt sorry for the front of house waiters and waitresses who had to make constant excuses for the chef and management. We waited one hour for our meal one night and was told the chef closed the kitchen because he was under pressure. What was that all about???? Cold food, delays, frozen chips - not the kind of thing you expect in the restaurant of a four star hotel. Chef needs a wake up call as do restaurant managers. Have to say breakfasts on the other hand were excellent.
Excellent hotel good value for money!
