The location of the hotel is just perfect. Pleasant staff. Comfortable. Good food. Secure private car parking.
No leisure centre nor swimming pool
Great central location convenient to shopping, pubs, restaurants and sites. Charming hotel with off street parking. Very friendly, helpful staff.
No Wi Fi in room. Nice hotel but a bit overpriced.
1) location 2) car park (once we found it) 3) historic significance 4) lovely decor throughout the hotel 5) beautiful bar 6) breakfast was quite nice
1) bed was a little old and not that comfortable 2) pillows could be softer 3) Wifi not great (workable but quite slow)
The location; parking; staff very good; comfortable beds; excellent ensuite
The decor in the rooms was not a match to the hotel itself: rooms were rather stark and decorated with unappealing furniture (had thought, based on photos, that rooms would be furnished with antiques).
Location Comfortable room with tea facility Quiet at night Nice day rooms to sip a drink and chat Very good breakfast selection of food, individually cooked. Pleasant staff
Quite expensive when more than one room is required. Limited lunch menu - when a panini was requested without pineapple, this item was just removed leaving the taste still there (instead of making up a new panini). Also our windows didn't open leaving the room very hot.
Everything and Anything
Pretty much everything
We would have liked some bottled water in our room as a small gesture.
Central and warm traditional atmosphere
Benners has played & plays an integral part in the story of Dingle, its unique story & character & central location make it an ideal base to enjoy the town & its hinterland .
Location and Hotel,
We stayed in the lovely village of Dingle for two nights. Benners Hotel is classy and comfortable. The front desk staff went above and beyond to help us get settled. The breakfast is fantastic. We also really appreciated the parking area. Dingle is very busy in the summer and parking is at a premium. The hotel is within easy walking distance of everything so once you park, you're good to go discover why Dingle is one of the most charming, beautiful places in the world.
The place needs an upkeep. The rooms are a little shoddy and overpriced for the value.
food and ambiance of traditional hotel.
bathroom fittings poor standard. toilet seat unsafe and coming away from wall and wash basin coming away from wall. Poor lighting in shower.
Comfortable surroundings and room
Lack of any sun loungers, only hard iron chairs. Could use balcony as terrace. Unimaginative outside, guests only have a draughty corridor.
Nice big room and bathroom. Lots of personality. View onto courtyard and countryside even though the hotel is right downtown. Super location. One of the best breakfasts we had on our trip (amazing smoked salmon). Parking lot available so no worries there.
Perhaps a little too much lace in the room, but it did have personality!
Easy access to some very good restaurants & the centre of town. Front desk staff were amazing - very friendly & informative. Rooms were huge & really tastefully decorated. Have no hesitation in recommending it Car park is hard to find if you arrive a t the front of the Hotel so ask for directions as the entrance is on a side street.
Room in the old part was a little bit noisy due to people slamming the heavy fire doors while walking through them. But definitely not a deal breaker.
Excellent staff, comfortable property, great fun!
Large room & friendly staff
Rooms a bit dated
Quality accommodation everyone so helpful and friendly, wonderful service, meals excellent
A lovely hotel,an excellent base for exploring Dingle and the Peninsula.Highly recommended.
I loved the ambiance, the atmosphere, the decor, the location and the breakfast. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to a longer stay.
the fact that we just had a one night stay and I didn't get to eat in the hotel (I love the crab claws in Benners) Rita Lundon
This is a very comfortable hotel. We liked the convenience of the location, the ambiance and the helpful staff. Breakfast was generous and we liked the pub, the lobby, and the the small garden. There is a wall dedicated to Boston which made us feel closer to town, This hotel was recommended by a friend who told us the story of the effort to save this hotel from disappearing. We recommend the concerts at the church across the street.
This is a very well run, comfortable hotel. It knows its business and it does it well.
The doors are locked at 11:30 p.m., after which time you have to ring the bell for the night porter to let you in. Not very convenient if you want to stay until closing time at the pub.
