Well appointed, great staff...very friendly and helpful
A bit of a drive into Killarney for dinner.
We stayed for three nights and we're very comfortable. Our daughter had an unexpected problem with her room but the owners couldn't do enough to make things right and didn't charge her for accommodation or her breakfasts - they dealt with the problem so well. Very lovely people.
Nothing really we didn't like, maybe the rooms a little small but that's all.
Denis was friendly and helpful beyond the norm. Even helped with our washing!
Dennis is extremely nice and friendly. He was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the local attractions. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the wifi worked great. On our last night, we realized last minute that we needed a ferry ticket printed for the following day. While there wasn't a printer on site, he was kind enough to go next door for us, at 10pm, to print them out! I can't say enough about how kind and accommodating he was. We will definitely be recommending Dirreen House to anyone in the area.
We couldn't walk into town (although it was only a 5-10 minute drive).
We had a wonderful stay and Mary, the owner, went out of her way to make myself and my baby feel welcome and support us!
The owners who gave us lots of advice about what to see and where to eat, the comfy bed. Everything else.
Nothing at all
The welcome we got. The breakfast was amazing, nicest full Irish I ever had. Rooms were fab, bed linen beautiful. Mary & Denis are lovely, couldn't do enough for us.
The fact that I couldn't stay longer :-)
Very kind. Excellent directions and input regarding where to travel and what to see!
The owner was very friendly as we're the staff and the house was immaculate
The room was a bit small but adequate as we were only staying one night
Three months of travelling around Britain i would give the Dirreen a 10 out of 10. Wish we could of stayed longer. Everything we were looking for, everything we needed.
Very clean, quiet and breakfast was excellent. Willing to go above and beyond! Helpful with directions. Would highly recommend!
Dennis and his wife were excellent hosts. Very friendly n very helpful
Room n bathroom small
The family running this B and B are most accommodating and friendly. My wife has celiac disease and must not have gluten. The family took extra care in preparing her meal and ensuring both her health needs and her appetite were satisfied. Highest recommendation!
The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and such nice people - felt like my own home. The rooms are clean, large and very comfortable. Thank you very much - it was nice staying here.
There was a slight hiccup when we arrived, but the hosts did their utmost best to compensate for this. They've even offered us a free breakfast which was not included in the room rate to compensate for the little inconvenience caused. A bit out of town but if you have a vehicle it is not really a problem.
The owners, excellent.
