Open fire, huge bed , great home cooked breakfast. Sian and Michael made us feel so welcome. .Will definitely be back :)
The television was too small :(
Everything was exceptional. The weather was awful but the welcome, warmth and comfort were excellent and the breakfast was something else! We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay - pity it wasn't for longer.
There was absolutely nothing that we didn't like
Friendly staff, comfortable beds and delicious breakfast! Would definitely stay here again!
good choice of breakfast quick friendly service lovely location with good access to major roads for sightseeing
there was nothing with which we could find fault
Friendly staff. Felt very homely. Great breakfast. Would Def recommend.
We arrived on a cool and rainy evening and were warmly greeted by the hosts and a cozy fire in the sitting room. Nicely decorated and terrific breakfast selection.
Had to drive into town for dinner.
No bar no restaurant
Mike was very helpful and the room was very big.
They ran out of home made brown bread!!
Beautiful facility; interesting décor, great breakfast; nice staff; room, bathroom and bed were all large and comfortable. View out of window was a peaceful field of sheep.
Can't fault it was made more than welcome on arrival and could not fault the service we received while our stay. Brakefast was all fresh and amazing choices. Really handy to town. And the habour restaurant was amazing thanks to the recommendation of the owner of the hotel.
The bedroom was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and could not thank them enough. The breakfast was was wonderful so what more could you wish for, and excellent value for money
We were at a wedding in Harvey's Point. It was only down the road! Great big rooms and beautiful breakfast!
Lovely comfortable room Helpful staff Excellent food
Road entrance to place
The large bedroom with good facilities and the friendly owners and staff.
Slightly outwith the town centre, but within walking distance.
Two of us had a large twin room. Great breakfast very stylishly presented.
Vent in bathroom didn't work - it needed a clean. As we were at the front we could hear traffic all night.
Room size was good, huge bed, good tea/coffee facilities in room, quiet location, it was nice and clean, bathroom was a good size and clean, staff were friendly, breakfast was lovely
The bed was very hard, breakfast coffee wasn't nice, location is not within walking distance to Donegal town as described on booking.com website, it is a short drive (about 5 mins or so) if u have a car, as I did, it's no problem then
Sian and Michael the owners were so friendly and helpful! Very welcoming, made sure we had everything we needed. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious! Good variety from yogurt, fruit and cereal to full Irish breakfast which is made to order. Loved the sitting room downstairs. There is a bit of road noise, but we asked for a room in the back of the house and it was peaceful. Property is about a mile from city center, town is easy to get around.
Everything great breakfast (:
Full English breakfast was very good, very good selection of food for breakfast
Room good sized, breakfast good, staff very helpful and friendly.
Not easy to see sign initially. Bit of a drive to Donegal town.
Delicious breakfast and a wide variety of hot and cold options. The staff were wonderful and extremely accommodating.
Wifi was down during our stay and we had no cold water at bedtime, but it returned during the night. Would still recommend staying at Donegal Manor!
The building . The owner.
The room was 3 storeys up and the en suite was claustrophobic. There were no evening meals being served. It was cold. The building was unfinished
Sian and Michael were wonderful hosts excellent attention to detail
Sian was so friendly and helpful and really made us feel at home in Donegal Manor. She provided us with maps, vouchers for local restaurants, extra snacks and refreshments, and was extremely accommodating of our needs. The breakfasts were delicious and had a variety of options - everything from healthy options like granola, fresh fruit, cereal, juices, yoghurt, to amazing baked scones, cakes, tea breads, and fruitcake. You also have the option to order a full Irish, specialty omelettes, pancakes, and other local seafood specialties. Our room was very spacious and even included a separate sitting area with an armchair, writing table, refreshment stand, and TV. The views were beautiful and looked out at the mountains and countryside. Very comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable stay...would highly recommend and look forward to a return visit.
