The most striking feature of this B&B was the warm, hospitable nature of the staff. They care about you and are sensitive to your needs. That was especially evident the day my friend was unwell and stayed in bed. Staff mailed her postcards for her, and brought her a scone.

    Nothing to dislike.

I liked that I was given privacy.

I didn't like that it was too loud with other guests at times to sleep.

We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived, and throughout. Breakfast was fantastic, such a lot of choice, and beautifully cooked. Lovely area, nice walk into Dublin, around 30 minutes

Booked a family room, having read about bunk beds, got 2 double beds, ( room 3) which was not ideal with a 9 and 15 year old. Maybe should have checked first. Would have liked thicker curtains, as we like dark bedrooms, but maybe that's a personal preference.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was very nice, clean and the staff were really helpful, especially Daniel. Breakfst in the morning was delicious and the place was spotless.

IF I was to say something negative about Donnybrook it would only be that our room was a bit on the tight side, but only because of the large, and very comfortable double bed.

A really good welcome and friendly staff.

Only downside was the room was right on the roadside next to the front door.

Staff were friendly, keen to help and serve. Just off a main road onto Dublin, so easy to walk in or get a bus. The airport coach is very convenient and regular for flying visits.

    No fridge in room.

Denis was really pleasant and helpful. Room was comfortable and linen clean.

Lounge seating was grubby and tired looking. Breakfast room was a bit cramped and the service slow. Some breakfasts were ok but not the eggs benedict - the hollandaise sauce wasn't!

Donnybrook Hall is located in nice neighborhood outside of central Dublin. It is convenient for taking public transportation both into the city center or to the airport. My room was very attractively furnished and very comfortable. The owner and staff are wonderful. They take the time to welcome guests with tea and conversation. It was a really pleasant stay. Donnybook also provides a wonderful breakfast option, as well. Ireland is known for its friendly, welcoming people and Donnybrook Hall is certainly proof of this.

The inn was charming and Terry and his staff could not do enough for us!

We love to walk and it is a good thing! This place is well outside of town. Buses and cabs are easily accessible though and there were several good eating choices right in the neighborhood!
