In the heart of the Georgian city of Dublin, this 3-star guest house features traditional dècor and furnishings. It was built in the 18th century, and was once part of the Earl of Clonmel’s estate.

From the time I arrived I was made very welcome. The room, facilities and breakfast were very good.
Everything was lovely, clean, warm ,quiet and comfortable and Debbie gave me a lovely welcome..
Excellent customer service - just the right amount of attention Faultless breakfasts Clean comfortable room Good restaurants within walking distance
Welcoming helpful staff.
Clean and quiet place to stay. Location was great just outside the city centre and close to motorways. Fantastic place and will certainly stay here again.
There was nothing we did not like.
Excellent breakfast freshly cooked & choice. White linen table cloths & fresh flowers, Nearby off street parking
Location is v good for RDS - a short drive. Great food in Kielys in Donnybrook - a short walk. Breakfast was ok. Room was clean , staff were nice. Inexpensive.
Parking - Owner of residence moves car from outside the guesthouse - to another location quite a distance - at 7am. When leaving the guest house in the morning after breakfast - it means carrying luggage a block or 2 to the car park. Wi-Fi is in the SITTING ROOM only, not available in the bedroom - which is where I needed it. The bedroom - you walk out-doors (not great in rain) between the bedroom and breakfast room.
Room very cosy and warm on a freezing cold night in Dublin having arrived in from a warmer country.
No bathroom ensuite. Leaving bedroom with a key to go to bathroom couple of times a night not pleasant!
Very friendly staff, good pubs and restaurants in walking distance. Comfortable room.
Free WiFi didn't work
Was made to feel v welcome by staff meet on duty. She walked me to the designated car park & then when we returned to b & b she asked if I would like cup of tea, if I was hungry, showed me to my room & pointed out all facilities there. Gave me a newspaper, showed me breakfast room. Was so polite. Room v comfortable, breakfast top class, dining room spotless & excellent service there with offer of 2 nd helping. Proprietor introduced himself, was friendly & helpful but was not 'in my face'. Would highly recommend
Standards on all aspects are kept high. We have been to many 4 and 5 star hotels where we did not get such good service. Staff, accomodation and breakfast are excellent. Decor is simple but with taste This is a real gem and we sincerely recommend it.
Though the location is somewhat off the city centre, this is remedied by the proximity of pulic transport, including the Airport Bus. For those who like to walk, St Stephen's Green is less than 30 mins walking distance.
We were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay. The full Irish breakfast was delicious. Location is also good for a short bus trip to the city centre. Will definitely stay again.
The only minor thing was the speed of the internet access. Otherwise everything was perfect.
Clean, friendly, good location, delicious breakfast.
The staff/oweners were so helpful and genuine, also room was incredibly quiet and comfortable. Brilliant.
Conversations with Terry. Location, comfort and value of hotel
A little disappointed with wifi although not a great problem
The staff were amazing & so helpful. Free wifi in room. Very comfortable and warm rooms. Would def stay here again. Very Highly recommend.
It was a lovely house to stay in with some nice decor and also the mod cons that are needed if you are there on business. The staff were very friendly and we're always looking to help out. It's location was ideal for what I needed.
All was very good
The propriertors were very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, only a few minutes walk from bus stops.
The wifi signal was very weak in the room. The shower did not turn off properly after use. There was a small mix-up at check-out whether credit card payment would be accepted (it was in the end).
room, free wifi, excellent breakfast, comfortable bed, staff were friendly and helpful, free parking, easy to find, good location, very clean, clutter free house and room, warm room, little noise, tea-making facilities in the bedroom, fresh towels.
Very little to say here. 1. If being 'picky', found business calls being done in adjoining room to breakfast room during the breakfast period distracting from the peace and enjoyment of an excellent breakfast! 2. Having to pay in cash rather than by bank card/credit card.
- Terry is a great host! -30 minute walk to St Stephens Green or UCD Campus - Delicious Breakfast from OJ and porridge to full Irish breakfast or event French Toast w/ Strawberry Syrup! - Great water pressure & temperature - Room has great radiator - I never got cold - Convenience store just a few hundred feet away
The staff/owners were incredibly froendly and accomodating.
Dangerous and wrongly fitted shower controls ie off/on reversed, hot /cold reversed. No service on Christmas day, not advised in advance of check in. Inadequate breakfast on Christmas day. Marginal tv.
Everything from the comfort of the bed, cleanliness, quality of the breakfast, location and contact with very helpful staff.
