The ladies were very helpful and friendly and you were made to feel very welcome. A very family-like hotel! The only thing I didn't like was when I used the sink and let the water out, it sent dirty water back up into the shower cubicle! I did mean to mention this to the ladies but forgot! |

Excellent value for money. I had a 6:15am departure and staff facilitated me by leaving a continental breakfast in my room which I very much appreciated. |

The owner,Terry, was helpful and gave good advice. The noise of people talking and moving around upstairs can be clearly heard in the ground floor rooms. |

The personeel were so helpful at all times. A bit out of Dublin center but easy to reach via bus...also from the airport (bus). |

The staff was outstanding! While we were there we had difficulties with our rental car and Terry the manager went out of his way to arrange a tour and a different hotel so we could salvage our vacation. Terry proved that he was more interested in our satisfaction and happiness than anything else. |

The staff was thoroughly pleasant and helpful. My small, single room was spotless. The comparatively large bathroom was modern and immaculate. English breakfast okay. The guesthouse is located in a quiet, fairly upscale area of town. A solid 30-40 minute walk to the center of the city. However, it's right next to easy public transportation (except on Sundays) and there is an Air Coach stop nearby for link with the airport. |

Nice and helpful staff, very clean rooms. Breakfast could be bigger though and walls are thin. 15 min walk to city centre or 5 mins on any bus. Close to shops, pubs and restaurants. Good value for money. You can hear people next door |

Very helpful owner, spotlessly clean rooms, good breakfast, rooms nicely decorated, furniture without traces of wear, very quiet location On Sundays / holidays infrequent public transport to city centre. As it is an old building, you can hear absolutely everything that is going on indoors for the thin walls and the badly insulated room doors. |

Except for the Visa problem the hotel is fine In the year 2009 80% of people pay the hotel with Visa this hotel will not except any card payment system ,it cost me 6 Euro to get cash out of a bank machine because the banks charge you to take any cash out of your account except sterling can you please advertise this hotel does not except Visa |

The booking system was efficient. The staff were helpful. IT was great that my daughter was allowed to practise the violin in her room. Someprovision should be made for a early breakfast - my daughter andI were given a cheese and jam sandwich for breakfast which was a bit unusual! A simple buffet style breakfast could be set up earlier. |

Location, Near the city centre and close to public transport We booked this place because of the great reviews on this website. Unfortunatley, it did not meet our expectations at all. Loads of reviews say the breakfast was huge. It wasn't. Where's the pudding and nice brown bread. The room had a smell of vomit mixed with bleach. The bed was very uncomfortable. Bathroom not up to standard. Shower pressure like episode in Seinfeld. |

Very friendly and helpful welcome. The room was clean and comfortable, and quiet. Nice shower. Good access to Dublin, regular bus 1.60 euro single, you need exact money, 10 euro regular taxis. You could almost describe breakfast as extravagant, varied choice. My daughter loved the pancakes, my son and I french toast and maple syrup. Very friendly service. In our particular room you could smell breakfast cooking, not really a problem, but would have preferred not to. |

Donnybrook Hall is convenient for the city centre and UCD, well-served by frequent local buses and convenient for the aircoach service. Staff were friendly and welcoming, my room had everything I needed and the breakfasts were delicious. |

All the staff was not only professional but also friendly. The B&B is in a good position, which allows you to reach the city centre comfortably and in few time. Close to UCD too. |
