Located in the Embassy Belt of Dublin 4, our Bed & Breakfast is centrally located to University College Dublin, the RDS Showgrounds, Lansdowne Road Rugby and Dublin City Centre.
Donnybrook Hall is a family owned and run Bed and Breakfast. We offer clean, quiet and comfortable accommodation in the central Dublin neighbourhood of Donnybrook. Nine of our bedrooms feature ensuite bathrooms, wood floors and restful furnishings.Three of our bedrooms open onto a lovely garden. A comfortable sitting room is available to all our guests.

Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.

Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

Bedrooms: All of our bedrooms feature ensuite bathrooms, wood floors and restful furnishings. Three of our bedrooms open onto a lovely garden. A comfortable sitting room is available to all guests.

Hygiene: As part of our Quality Control Programme, all Donnybrook Hall mattresses and bedding are regularly inspected and treated by the Irish Bed Hygiene Company.

Guests who suffer from allergies can rest assurred that Donnybrook Hall maintains the highest standards of hygiene and bed care.

Quality Beds: All beds feature top quality orthopaedic mattresses and quality linens and duvets to help ensure sweet slumbers.

Area information

The hotel is located on a upscale residential street, so nights are quiet. There is a bus stop very close to the hotel from where you can catch an air coach to Dublin Airport.

The RDS showgrounds, the UCD campus, the RTE TV studios and the US embassy are all 15 minutes’ walk away.

Important information

When booking, guests must notify the hotel of any arrivals after 18:00.

Good sizeable rooms, friendly staff, convenient location

Only a minor gripe but leaking shower, however i was only there for 1 night so it was not of any great concern.

The hotel is located in a good area. It's not central, but there are buses all the time and it takes just 10 min (hotel - city centre). The staff is very nice and helpful. Good breakfast. Good bathroom.

I think the single room is a bit small. It would be nice a computer available for the guests.

Very nice accomodation. Wonderfull staff: polite, ready to help.... Very good Irish breakfast and other types of breakfast. Available wireless internet. Clean and quiet. Not far from the city centre: available a good bus service. Payment at the end. Boiler for tea and coffee in the room, with soluble coffee and tea bag. Temporary free luggage store.

External passageway not lighted in the evening/night: quite difficult go to room.

Ther area of thehotel.

I didn't like that my room was near the kitchen therefore it was very noisy and the smell of food was terrible after a while.The furniture was old fashioned and not made of good quality.

bright, newly decorated, and close to RDS and local amenities , pub and restaurant. lanlord extremely helpful , although looked a bit stressed!

the young man who greeted us on arrival was a little too jovial in the sense that we were tired and did not appreciate his jokiness at the end of a long journey, but that may just be us!

It was close to town, but right out in the country just a mile from town. We also liked that we could be picked up by a small bus to take the trip through the Gap. Donnybrook was on in a beautiful setting by the a small stream and my teenage boys loved the huge breakfasts!!

Just wish there where clearly marked names of streets in ireland to get better directions. As american we are use to street names at every corner. the person on the phone stuck with us on several calls to help us finally get there. The only complaint we have for Ireland as a whole!
