Really nice, but simple, room. Very warm, but possible to reduce heat. Entrance straight from the garden which added to it's charm. Excellent and inventive breakfasts!!!! Just a couple of minor details: That the kettle dribbled when pouring from it. The tap to turn on the shower was stiff, a bit hard to turn on.

Terry was wonderful. He helped us get around the city, parked the car and helped us pack it when we left. Precious was equally helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

This is nice place to stay, quite far from the city center but it was not a problem to get a bus from the center to the hotel. The airport shuttle stop is just in 5 minutes from the hotel. Breakfast was amazing. The Tesco express store is nearby, opened till eleven. The room was very nice. Very different from typical modern but sometimes extremely plain rooms. It is important notice that this is not a modern hotel, but rather a guest house. So the interior is very nice and romantic but the bathroom facilities are quite outdated (but clean). If you are not used to bathroom equipment from previous century, you may find operating it quite tricky.

Asked for baby cot.was not in the room and then was told there wasn't one at all. We had no place to put our baby to sleep, so o had to share a single bed with a very active sleeper.not at all a good night.then there was nowhere to sit him at breakfast, like a child seat. The website leads you to believe there are accommodations for children upon request.there definitely was not. We don't recommend this place for anyone with small children.

The two hotel room attendants made us feel very welcome and comfortable. No hot water Sat morning-hotel had installed a new boiler, corrected problem by Sunday, nonetheless, it would have been lovely to tour Dublin on Saturday after a cleansing hot shower.

All the staff was very helpful and we felt very much welcome. It was a cosy home, close to the city center, the cinema and shopping areas. It was always kept clean and they served a very delicious breakfast. The hotel did a great job to make everyone feel good.

The staff at this bed and breakfast style hotel were unbelievably friendly and helpful, including offering advice for visiting the city and providing a much needed conversion plug. I have never met such a friendly staff before. The location was very nice too, being near a major bus route and also UCD. The food was excellent too. The heating system and window. Granted, it was a very, very cold and rainy few days in Dublin (nearly snowing), but the weak heating system was no match for the terribly uninsulated window. The room could barely maintain around 13-15 degrees (Celsius) with the heat fully cranked up and the curtains pulled across the window all day long. I sometimes tried to leave the door open to let the warmth from the hallway seep in, but this proved little help. The only way to stay warm in the room was under the covers. This regards room 6. As the hallway was sufficiently warm, it may be that other rooms do not share this problem. A better insulated window or a new heating system, and this hotel would be top notch.

The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. It was by far the cheapest hotel in Dublin city when I was searching and was able to still maintain high standards. The mattress on my bed was v.soft.

When last were you greated in a hotel or b&b by a nice old lady who insisted you sit down with a cup of tea (free), chat a bit and then insisted to give you a couple of euro coins so you can manage on the local bus ? That is Donnybrook hall on the tip of a tounge. In addition the rooms are nice and spacious, the breakfast charming and the price fair. What more could you want ? No elevator
