Not a lot
Staff unaware of peoples needs
Nothing. It was disgusting.
Everything about the place.
Very old and run down. Toilet didn't flush properly. Kettle didn't work. Bathroom old. Staff was not very friendly just very matter of fact. Traffic was noisy. For the price would not recommend. Stayed in much nicer places for less.
Friendly staff Comfortable
Nothing. Location can't really be an issue if you book this B&B in advance. We brought extra money for taxis.
No real human contact, but fine by me.
I didn't like everything! I booked for a smoking room but she said they don't have and if I really want a smoking room I am free to find other bnb but there's no cancellation as I will pay the whole price if I will cancel my booking with them!
Proximity to the ferry terminal off street car parking friendly helpful hostess
Getting into car park from bus lane at peak hour
Good location for public transport,
No traditional breakfast. DID NOT AGREE WITH PAYMENT ON ARRIVAL, BEFORE VIEWING THE ROOM. Empty spirit bottles on top of wardrobe.
extremely loud: large road right in front, thin windows
Staff were friendly
It was very baisic
very handy to bus service to city, Lady in charge was very helpful.
The location is great
No contact with staff after payment made on arrival. Bathroom filthy. €80 for a single is exhorbitant when another booking was for a room & breakfast 3 people €70 per night. Breakfast very basic. bread in packets, milk in plastic bottles in fridge. No butter only spread in little packs. When I asked for my bathroom to be cleaned I was told to ring the owner!! The tap in my basin was broken. The sheets threadbare and the duvet I was afraid to look any further. I always travel with my own bedding. I would not recommend this property.
The worst experience ever. We left, wanted our money back but could not talk to anyone. I recommend that booking.com do not advertise this property.
Very friendly staff and obliging.
The ensuite was VERY SMALL and the shower stiff to work
it was dirty, the beds were broken, the staff a nightmare, we cancelled after one day and have still to get a refund, find somewhere else.
Not very much.
Too many beds in the room. Could do with decorating.
Noise of road
Location was convenient, but the noise from traffic on the Stillorgan Road was disturbing. The price was reasonable, although better service and facilities were expected.
The staff seemed indifferent to the customer's concern. The continental breakfast needs improvement. Surely other bread choices beyond white and brown could be provided given the price charged. Having to pour milk for coffee and tea from a bottle rather than a purpose designed thermo jug was off putting. The postage stamp sized room tvs should be updated. Better quality soap should be provided as well as shampoo. A comfortable sitting chair in the bedroom was missing. My room was not cleaned one day as the bed had not been made up from when I left.
Room was shabby and tired Furniture and fittings were of bad quality and threadbare The toilet would not flush The breakfast was disgraceful and the breakfas room was like the rest of the house rough and ready I would not stay in this Band B again.
It was overpriced, has safety issues - exposed electrical wiring, mould in bathroom, camp beds charged as regular beds. Extremely rude receptionist - no room service at all ( cups were not even changed). Services were not adequate for the number of guests. Breakfast offered was poor in choice. Would not recommend this establishment and would not go back. Travellers beware!
Location Money value Good breakfast
Was not able to leave luggage at front desk after check out.
What a disaster. We arrived at this B&B at about 4:00 on a thursday for a 2 night stay, and had to wait 10 minutes before I eventually rang the reservation number to try get in. The room we were given had a smell of dampness in it. The wallpaper was starting to come away from the walls and had black spots from dampness. There was a large wet looking stain on the carpet. The toilet would not flush properly. We had asked for a travel cot for our 1 year old son, which was not in the room when we arrived. When the lady looking after the house brought one to us, I opened it to find holes and dirt all over , I honestly would not have put a dog in it, let alone my son. The following morning I spoke with the absentee owner, who basically told me if I had a problem with the room and had wanted my money back I should have brought it to their attention before we stayed the night. We initially dropped our bags to head into town for a few hours and it was only when we came back for the night that we realised just how bad the room was. The owner also tried blaming us for the dampness as we may have showered, but the dampness was visible before a shower was used. We were eventually moved to a different room for our second night, which to be fair was a slight improvement on the first room but was still in need of some renovation. We skipped breakfast as we were not to comfortable with the idea of eating in a place which is so obviously neglected, although we only missed tea and toast and a bowl of cereal, as there is no hot food on offer for breakfast. I would strongly recommend anyone looking at staying here to look elsewhere.
The lady that cleaned the rooms was very helpful and friendly
We were looking for more traditional B&B and this was more like a hotel
breakfast help yourself
Nobody answered the phone..tried 4 times, friend tried twice, could hear phone ringing at night no answering. Unable to give help..eg where to catch coach for airport
