I liked the location to Stephens Green I was in Room 2 it was above the beer garden & I could hear the noise from there & the street all night. Double glazing might help with the noise level

Amazing find, Great value, even Dubliners do not know you can stay there. Bed very comfortable. Famous pub, saw minor celebrities drinking there during my stay there. Check in is at the bar and lovely barman Greg carried my heavy suitcase up the stairs for me. Staff couldn't be nicer. Noisy at night from traffic and pub until midnight. Didn't bother me at all, might bother some. Will certainly stay there on all future visits to Dublin. Liked everything.

The bar itself had a great atmosphere, had a constant flow of tourists and best of all is the trad music. I didn't like that I cut my foot on a piece of glass in the bathroom, that the room was terrible and the owners response was rude and accusatory and bad mannered!

Location - very central Price - good value clean comfortable beds large rooms if you like loud music - rock when we were there - will be fine - a bit too noisy too late for us (was a Saturday night) - but a really 'buzzing' place

Location. Very noisy, until 2am, got no sleep. For the price, can do better elsewhere. Great pub though.

Location Noise from patrons who were using the smoking area was very noticeable from the 1st floor. Breakfast should have been an option.

Everything was ok, stuff is really helpful and friendly, no problems at all. There is wi-fi in the hotel, although not in every room, you can always catch the network in the pub downstairs - they should upgrade information at booking.com.

Not really value for money, it was a case of any port in a storm, it was handy, but would not be even a second choice, for the price. G It was convenient for where I wanted to go earlier the next day.

I have stayed at O'Donoghue's a number of times because of its excellent city centre Dublin location. It is very close to St. Stephen's Green, the National Concert Hall and the best of the capital's shopping venues. On the other hand, it is a group of rooms above a very busy pub on a major street, so it can be noisy both in the late night and early morning. Finally, there is no breakfast offered, so as a €60 per night single accommodation I feel O'Donoghue's is a bit pricey. I feel a €45-€50 per night single rate would be more appropriate in the current economic conditions.

Great location. Two mins from Stephens green park for morning run/exercise/nature enjoyment. 4 more mins from Grafton Street shopping, Trinity college etc. Super pub options -side left live music-side right a quieter experience,,,middle courtyard -back end is sun and open air...and on Sundays live music also (at least it seemed at Lunchtime). U are surrounded by other great Dublin pubs, Toners, Foleys.....I Liked listening to people out on the road talking and laughing and the fact I could hear music in my room without having to sit in the crowds below. While I am not 'young' the merriment did not bother me on the contrary. A great spa is across the road for just about everything and it does a 'hot section' where u can buy breakfast (sausage, pudding etc to go) for very reasonable prices. Room has coffee and tea (well stocked each day). My room - number 2 faced the road - particularly spar where folk sit at the window looking across at the pub while drinking their coffees. There are no net curtains to screen for privacy....this is the only thing would say should be installed. I found myself drawing curtains (dark room) until fully dressed each day.
