location great breakfast very good staff pleasant
the noise from the bar very loud in bedroom
It's so convenient to everything, transport, parking, shopping and entertainment.
Nothing really. I have been a frequent visitor during my working days as I did contract work for many years in Waterford. Even though I am now eight retired I still try to get back for at least one stay per year.
decor was a bit shabby
Excellent location and facilities. Made very welcome by reception staff and had great food. Room very comfortable.
I find the shower gel difficult to get out of fixed bottle on walls.
Breakfast is too latye when you start work at 7.30am
Room was freezing. Sorry for reason alone would not stay sgsin
close to train / bus station and main shopping area good food nice bar area friendly and helpfull staff
matress bit soft no sound on sky news channel short of towels and bathroom utilities first day
Bar food very good for selection on offer quality and service. Staff welcoming and efficient offering good service
Breakfast. Do not like buffet breakfasts and this was no exception. Food lukewarm at best.
Friendly staff. Efficient service.
Had to pay for parking
The location and the price. Also it was a nice big room
Having to pay for the Wi-Fi if wanted to use it.
having to pay for parking across the road
Food excellent staff lovely
Pillows lumpy horrible soap couldnt use it vile smell off it
Really good breakfast and the hotel is in a good location for the centre. Pay car park opposite is ok - flat €5 for 24hrs but only €3 with a hotel discount. Bedroom and bathroom nice, would have liked river view but no big problem. Staff really helpful
Breakfast room a little chilly in the morning. Why does nobody put biscuits in rooms anymore?
The location and the food
Having to leave at 11.30 AM most hotels give you a little more time
The food, room and staff were lovely. The price was good for the two night stay.
1)The noise outside ( due to roadworks) in the early morning was very distracting, we found it hard to sleep once we were woken and thats what we like about a break we try and get lots of rest so that was disappointing, 2)we found it hard to find our room, the signs were confusing, each time we had to stop and think where do we go so better signs might be considered in the future
Staff were really friendly The room was massive much more that expected. The food was excellent
It seems whenever a hotel is located on a VERY busy road I cannot spot it in the midst of traffic, roadworks and general chaos! Then a car park across the road and I am the 'frazzled' tourist
Nothinit's not the only hotel in Ireland without convenient parking
Staff in the bar were lovely
All the steps. We were advised to take the stairs to our bed instead of the lift. Approx 6 flights of stairs later we arrived at our room to be gretted with more steps! The carpet really needs to be replaced and the bathroom was far too cramped! Rooms need to be updated badly and steps in a bedroom is so strange? We won't be staying again felt hard done by handing over &109 for that room
great staff very clean comfortable rooms
Bedroom was a good size, bright and airy.Chamber maid was friendly ,cheerful and helpful.Bar food was excellent and staff attentive.
The white paint on the banisters needed cleaning.
lovely rooms, great price, fantastic location
nothing bad about the hotel, just pub nearby music was quite loud.
Dooleys is a lovely hotel with very nice rooms and pleasant bar but by far their biggest asset is their staff. They could not have done more or been more pleasant. The receptionist was very efficient and friendly on check in. Bar men attentive and quick. We went out of the hotel for the evening. When we returned Kevin took very good care of us in the residents lounge. Breakfast in bed was delicious and delivered on time. When we checked out the same receptionist allowed us to leave our bags for a few hours so we could go for some retail therapy. Well done to all the staff at dooleys. Ye make the place very special.
Could not fault this hotel
Welcoming staff at front desk on arrival. Nice room. Lovely bar and bar staff. Great bar food. Try the irish stew. Super breakfast. Cheap car parking.
friendly staff breakfast good not waiting long on a busy saturday morning bar staff very friendly atmosphere very good rooms basic and clean over all an enjoyable stay would we stay again yes
