We had no negatives or bad experiences during our three day stay.
Doolin is known for its folk and traditional Irish festivities and music. Doolin Cottage B&B is right in the middle of it all - four good pubs with music every evening within walking distance. Carol was a delightful hostess helping from the very entry into Doolin. (Booking.com and Google Maps has the location of Doolin Cottage B&B mixed up with Doolin Hotel. Upon calling her for directions, she led us to the B&B real-time on the phone.) Her B&B was comfortable, unpretentious, clean, and cozy. Her breakfasts provided good variation and all were excellent. Carol provided information about sights to see and places to eat. (oh, and health recommendations, like sunscreen for our sunny boat trip to the Aran Islands!). Her B&B was a wonderful location to explore the Burren area, Cliffs of Moher, and the Aran Islands. Highly recommended for the location and value for the money.
