Just 2 km from Doolin, Doolin Holiday Village offers 4-star detached houses with free parking and stylish decor. The houses are situated in Coogyulla, and each has a private garden. The spacious houses have 3 bedrooms with wooden floors and large windows. The bright and airy living area features an open fireplace, comfortable seating and a TV. The Doolin Holiday Village houses each have a fully fitted kitchen with an oven, refrigerator and microwave. There is also a cosy dining area, and a dishwasher is provided. The scenery and location was excellent for an outdoor break in the country/seaside. Electricity charges too high – recommend an electrician looks at the electricity meter and appliances.

house was lovely and well equipted Seeing that it was beginning of season felt that houses should have been sparkly clean, some of bathrooms were really a bit grotty, and whole house could do with a lick of paint

This house was quite unsuitable for a winter stay as it has the most inefficient heating system and as a result we spent a weekend battling with the cold: we kept the open fire burning all the time we were in the house but even with this we could not get sufficient heat in this room. We stayed from friday evening till Sunday morning and our electricity bill was 50 euro, plus we spent 20 euro on peat briquettes for the fire. The kitchen equipment was a bit disappointing as we like to cook at home ; it misse some basics for cooking a meal eg a chopping board and many of the pieces of crockery were chipped and unfit for use

The house was large and comfortable with good services. A lot of the bulbs in the house were blown and the staff were not the most friendly..

Das Haus ist sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Auch die Sanitären Anlagen waren modern und in Ordnung. Die Existenz von Waschmaschine, Spülmaschine, Wasserkocher, Toast, TV usw. ist erfreulich, leider aber funktionierte vieles nicht. Leider ließ die Sauberkeit sehr zu wünschen übrig. An den Fensterrahmen in der Küche und an der Dunstabzugshaube war Schimmel und es roch teilweise modrig. Folgende Dinge funktionierten nicht oder nur teiweilse: Spülmaschine, Wasserkocher, Heizung im Hausgang, TV-Empfang.
