The Hotel Doolin was a delightful surprise. Everything was lovely - the beautiful lobby, rooms, the setting and especially the friendly staff. Very nice bar/restaurant connected to it.

The photo from the outside does not do this hotel any justice, as you will see as soon as you step it. It is a lovely hotel with staff to match. Breakfast was included in the price and was your choice of as much of pastries, jams, cheese, meats, cereals as you wanted plus a hot breakfast of your choice off the menu, I wanted a tweek on the menu and they were only happy to help. Very eco friendly. Lovely surroundings. We did visit at the end of March, so the shops attached weren;t open but there were signs to say if you wanted to purchase andthing from them to contact reception. Would definately visit again and recommend to others. Great relaxing retreat.

We had an off peak short break - few tourists about yet fully laid on breakfast choice etc. Lovely part of the world to explore Burren, Cliffs of Moher etc. Staff couldnt have been more helpful. Offered use of room (for showers etc) after completion of walks - well after normal check out times! Little/no music entertainment this time of year but will be back given the location and welcome.

The hotel is situated perfectly for what we wanted to see. Only ten minute drive to Cliffs of Moher. The hotel has a very cosy feel to it and the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Fitz's bar is connected to the hotel and serves delicious food and best pint of Guinness I have ever had.....and I'm Irish, so thats saying a lot! Can't recommend this hotel enough.

Cannot fault anything about our stay here. Pleasant and helpful staff, great food in the pub, yummy breakfast, clean and comfortble room, great location for the Cliffs of Moher and The Burren which is why we were in the area.

This hotel was clean comfortable, good location, free car park at the rear. Rooms were modern, warm, clean, nice size bathroom, good shower and bath. Free wireless broadband and tv in the room. The room had tea/coffee making facilities and a hair drier. Breakfast was decent, choice of cereal, bread, tea, coffee and cooked breakfast was good. The reception staff were chatty and friendly. Breakfast staff not very friendly or seem happy to see residents. Overall felt that aspects of the hotel were expensive such as bar food, coffee shop sandwiches and rolls. Bar food service extremely slow. We waited 40 minutes for food to be served. No safe or Iron in the room which would have been good extras to have.

We stayed for 2 nights and were very pleased with the room, breakfast, service and location. My husband played golf at the Lahinch golf club which was near by and really enjoyed it. The hotel is close to several fun pubs, the shore and good to just wander the countryside.

The location was very good. It was a small town and the hotel was a short walk to everything. The room was good also. The hotel bar was very nice and the music was good. The hotel restaurant was very nice for breakfast. The receptionist was very helpful and nice. Free internet was also great. The bed was a littlehard. They advertised movies but did not have many to choose from the night we were there. Also the tv had very few stations .

“When we booked this B and B we had no idea it was above a very popular, gourmet, restaurant! Although we had to wait for a table, we were glad we did--very creative, delicious food. Breakfasts were also specially prepared and great. And a wonderful hamper with tea, coffee and homemade cookies is delivered each afternoon to the room. A good location for visiting Cliffs of Mohr, the Burren, and for ferries from Doolin to the Aran Islands.” Jan, Dpo Ae |
