Drinagh Court Hotel

i like the fact that the night porter was visable when i arrived at hotel in the early morning. also, the lady on the front desk was very nice and pleasant.

i thought that the rooms could have been a little cleaner and thought they could do with modernising

It's not far out of the town,

Staff not over friendly, not told about where to go for breakfast, not asked if there was anything we needed help with, but other than that it was enjoyable

The quietness of the room, its size, comfortable beds and friendly , helpfull staff. On the last day we had to leave early to catch the ferry and the staff offered to cook breakfast

shower was slightly unpredicable running sometimes hot at other times cold.

Large room, very quiet, comfortable, good breakfast combining full irish with cereals, fruit and juice. Hotel had planty of space, ample carparking and good resaurant for evening meals

Taps didnt work in the bath and the shower was not always hot enough.

No toilet roll, ( had my own) no cups with kettle (used glass), sink did not empty ( overnight to do this) , TV to high on wall could not see, no remote. Walls paper thin , you could the hear the person urinatiung in the next door bath room. Website states that the hotel was poor and i agree

Staff attentive and helpful, ample parking, handy to the ferry terminals, and easy to find

Road noise at rush hour but ok at night

There are no lifts in this hotel, just steep stairs! The room we had was musty and grim. Bathroom was gloomy 1970s windowless and looked grubby. The noise from the party being held immediately below our room meant no sleep before 2am. This hotel lacked only Norman Bates and his mother to make it a complete experience.

The staff was really excellent; friendly & helpful. They did everything possible to make us comfortable once we arrived and even helped carry our bags. We enjoyed the food, breakfast being an entire banquet!

We were obliged to wait while a ground-floor room was sorted out for us, although I had specified this requirement on my booking form as necessary because my partner is disabled & unable to climb stairs. The young lady at reception did her very best to put right the oversight without a great deal of delay.

Very well situated for a night's stay after leaving afternoon ferry. Comfortable room and acceptable food, reasonably priced compared with similar standard hotels throughout Ireland.

Would have preferred restaurant to be separate from Bar (cleaning of bar during breakfast filled room with unappealing smell of disinfectant).
